If you haven't heard of Todos Juntos, it may come as a surprise that in my opinon, they are one of the most effective non profits around. I have had experience with them as a mother, school staffer, family friend and volunteer. The first thing that comes to mind is the friendly nature of all the employees. Todos Juntos is primarily an organization that works through schools districts and specific schools to help students who could use the assistance. Some may be deemed 'at risk' for various reasons. But you don't get that feeling at all when working with the group. They have kids best interest at heart (school success, making and keeping friends and fostering great relationships with the adults (teachers and staff). I work for a school district that has partnered with TJ so I see their impact on a daily basis. I also have a special needs daughter who adored all the activitites when she was in middle school. They hold after school homework clubs, sewing classes, fitness and health related groups and much more.
My experience with Todos Juntos has not been what I had expected. We are not the typical family they take under their wing and assist, therefor we were not made to feel included and in fact judged negatively. Consequently I no longer hear from them, no services offered.
First we are not homeless, we are not on financial assistance of any sort, and only speak English. What we asked for is assistance with child care for our grandchild we are raising. We chose not to get Oregon Family Services involved and drag that poor child through court ordered visits by electing to be a foster parent. We chose to be their Legal Guardian, not draining any of the taxpayers money on case workers, judges, and court room time. But if we were Foster parents we would receive not only assistance by receiving a monthly housing allowance, paid child care, and a plethora other programs I do not even know exist.
My husband and I put our retirement on hold, not to mention our lives. Don’t get me wrong we love this child and will for the rest of our lives.

Todos Juntos is such a great organization that reaches out to all. My kids have met many friends and been able to participate in many various experiences due to their activities and events. They were given many opportunities to engage in activities with others and to learn.
Todos Juntos also reaches out to many and is able to help direct people in the direction of resources they may need. It’s an amazing community resource with lots of positive outcomes.
Great experience with this group and I felt that they are sincerely trying to take care of our little ones. I love that they are providing resources for parents to better ourselves so we can be the best version of ourselves for our kids.
We, my children and I, have been to several programs through Todos Juntos, such as Lazertag, Preschoolers Hometown Heroes, thier Harvest Festival, and more! All of which have been fun and informative! Thank you!
Todos Juntos has been such a blessing for my family of four (3 year old girl & 6 month old boy). They provide so many resources and opportunities for the community, and all of the employees are so caring and nice.
Todos Juntos is made up of an amazing group of caring, professional, and supportive people who are devoted to our community. Their work has a big impact in many areas, providing resources, educational opportunities, and events for all. Estacada Schools and the folks in our community are fortunate to have Todos Juntos.
Todos Juntos is an amazing program providing opportunities for families in areas where information and resources about parenting and early childhood experiences are limited. Without this nonprofit many families in our area would lack the supplies and knowledge of how to further support their families in their home setting as well as educational setting. They do so much for families and children. Without them I feel my community would not be as connected socially.
I've always believed in the power of community to make a positive impact. That's why my experience with Todos Juntos was so inspiring. This incredible nonprofit has a unique ability to bring people together from all walks of life to address the needs of our community.
From the moment I first volunteered on the Estacada Early Childhood Committee, I was struck by the organization's warmth and inclusivity. Everyone felt welcome, regardless of their background or experience level. The staff and volunteers were incredibly dedicated, working tirelessly to create a supportive environment where everyone could contribute.
One of the things I admired most about Todos Juntos was their commitment to collaboration. I have seen the many amazing experiences that Todos Juntos provides to children in our local communities and cannot believe what an asset they are! From the programs for early childhood kids, serving after school programs for school age kids, and the resource fairs/classes they provide to families, Todos Juntos makes such a difference in our community every day. I have seen and taught many students who have been in early childhood programs provided by Todos Juntos and it is so amazing to see the difference it makes in the students ability to transition into school, problem solve and simply have more confidence when it comes to academic tasks. I have also seen families build relationships with each other through Todos Juntos programs. It is great to see people coming together to support one another both with their child's school journey, as well as in their home lives. I love that Todos Juntos is empowering families to be involved in their child's education while also putting supports in place to help families do so. Todos Juntos has done nothing but great things in our community and I hope that they can continue to serve children and families for years to come!
