Review from Guidestar
This organization has done an incredible job of conserving land in Tinicum Township and just beyond its borders. It has an excellent staff of 1 full time executive director and 2 parttime. A huge share of the work is done by volunteers, in particular an excellent hands-on Board of Directors. It has received accreditation, which indicates that it is upholding the highest possible standards. With 4500 acres protected the Tinicum Conservancy continues to gain the support of landowners who want to protect their properties from uncontrolled development.
