Mission: Threshold Services' mission is to help people with mental illness lead fulfilling lives by: - Providing exemplary mental health services; and - Promoting a caring community through advocacy, public education and professional education.
Programs: Residential rehabilitation: supported housingconsumers live in threshold services apartments, "second step" housing, or their own apartments or houses. Staff provides counseling, skill development and other support and assistance on a "drop in" basis. Twenty-four hour group homesthreshold services provides housing and supportive services to 18 people within two group homes. The staff provides services including counseling, skill development and other assistance on a twenty-four hour basis.
outpatient mental health centers: the outpatient mental health centers in rockville and silver spring provide psychiatric medical treatment and psychotherapy.
outreach:provides off site psychiatric rehabilitation for people who are homeless or who live in housing that is not owned or rented by threshold services.
