I love keeping up with the zoo on social media and the virtual trivia night was a blast! Keep up the amazing work for those animals and for the community.

Say Cheese! Cause this Zoo sure made me smile (and so does their rooster!). I attended their virtual trivia night, and not only did I learn that orca whales are the largest predator to the moose, but I also had a grand ol' time with some grand ol' friends.

Highly recommend Forest Park for a family-friendly, positive, and educational experience.

The Zoo in Forest Park is a gem tucked on 7.5 acres of land in Springfield Massachusetts. It is an educational learning center as well as a zoo full of animals that you can’t help but love. Max, chief camel will walk right up to the guests and actually let you rub his nose. The snowy eagle is gorgeous; the goats are so much fun to watch while the donkeys are making their appropriate noises in the background. Everyone should have the experience of walking through The Zoo and marveling at the zoo family. In addition, all of the staff is well educated about each of the animals, all of the educational programs, and are willing to answer any questions you might have. This is an experience that everyone should have.

Proud to be a part of this fabulous nonprofit. My family has enjoyed many adventures at the Zoo and son's fondest camp memories are learning about animals and caretaking. Staff are truly exceptional and dedicated to making this place accessible and open to all ages and learning levels. A gem in the Pioneer Valley!

As a board member for the Zoo in Forest Park, I am continually impressed by the new exhibits, dedicated staff, creative programming the zoo offers. Changing the core mission of the organization to focus on education, conservation, and rehabilitation really helps the zoo stand out from the herd, pun intended. I encourage everyone to volunteer, visit, and join in supporting this amazing local non profit.

This Zoo provides a safe and permanent home to animals who need one. They work with local and national rehabilitators to take in animals who are non-releasable to the wild.
