This place has helped not only women to get and keep sober for 48 years, but has very involved Board of Directors that create exciting events to keep donors, volunteers and alumni involved.
One sober woman equates to healthy children, marriages, reunited families, and productive members working and giving back to society.
I’m so honored to help them through the grant writing process!
I was a resident at Turning Point Home 18 years ago, and it was the best thing for my alcohol problem then all of the many treatment centers I had attended. The environment is LOVING, but structured in a way that I needed. We had in house groups, in and outside AA meetings, chores, and were kept busy. We needed to get sponsors and work the steps, and after a period of time, were allowed and encouraged to work. I stayed active with the alumni for many years and today attend their fundraisers, and donate what I can to their fantastic program. The experience I had there stays close to my heart and gave me the foundation to stay sober. I hope this review will help alcoholics decide to live there, and encourage people on the outside to donate to this important cause. Thank you, Felice G
