There is so much I can say about The Troubled Movement. This organization is a collection of motivating and caring women and men that have taken investing in EVER area of the next generation to a new level. By mentoring young boys and girls, The Troubled Movement gives our youth the opportunity to have people to go to when life throws its curve balls. What really spoke to me was the level of discretion and privacy that are given to the kids that come under our mentorship. In this day and age, kids are bottling up so many emotions, thoughts, stressors, and feelings with no one, they feel, to go to to guide them in the right way. If they go to friends or social media then they may get the wrong guidance. If they try to go to parents, they run the risk of getting in trouble or judged harshly. So where do these kids go? Well, the kids under The Trouble Movement Mentorship Program come to us with our arms stretched wide. They are provided a safe space of adults and kids their own age to talk their issues out without judgement, a place where they know they will be listened to, and a sounding board of solutions they might not have thought of. Investing in The Trouble Movement, Inc. means investing and being that guiding light that will help the next generation out of the darkness.
Troubled movement has helped many youth cope with their struggle of abuse and neglect in their lives. They have helped them find joy again, peace again, and have demonstrated a love the youth didn't even know existed. ❤
The energy is unmatched. I just recently started being a mentor with TTM and they have been very welcoming. So far I am really liking it!!!

TTM is a family of mentors and mentees. A wonderful opportunity for mentees looking for guidance in every aspect of life. Mentees also make long time healthy friends. I highly recommend young men and women to join TTM.
They continue to exude excellence as they help the Houston area youth! COVID-19 couldn't stop their shine! We are so thankful to have organizations like TTM!
I love how The Troubled Movement also helps teen boys. It's hard to find organizations that helps all teenagers within one organization.
It’s crazy how the troubled Movement has change how I look at things. Hearing Maranda’s story helped me understand a lot more things. She made me understand that Depression is no joke. I love that Maranda has the courage to tell her story so that it can help someone else out there. And I also feel like the name “The Troubled Movement” is definitely Maranda !
I've witnessed the great deeds this organization is doing and it's genuine care for these kids. We need more organizations like this in our community. In a world that seems like it's getting darker by the day, TTM is a light of hope for these kids. I've also witnessed the immense dedication of Miranda Evan's , as she treats all of these kids as if they were her own and also makes herself available when they are in need of support! Keep up the good work TTM!
This organization is making a significant impact on our young people. What is really fascinating about this is that they are able to do this without much of the notoriety, "fame" or resources that many organizations have at their disposal. They are a "mom and pop" non-profit organization and that they have gotten this far is significant and there's not many hurdles that they will not be able to overcome because once you've stuck on the block this long, the world is out there for your achieving!
This is an amazing group, their mentors are truly there for their mentees in every way possible, enhancing each other’s lives and remembering we are not alone!
This non-profit organization is a supportive, welcoming, and non-judgemental environment that you could ever have to back you. TTM is definitely a place where I know if I need support, guidance, or even desire a home like place, I can count on them. Every teenager isn’t fortunate enough to have loving and caring parents or the sacred environment that they know without a doubt is going to motivate and support through through the good, bad, and ugly. If that’s what you’re desiring then TTM is most definitely what you’re looking for!
The Trouble Movement was born out of pain but has clearly thrived on the love and dedication of it’s board members, donors, and volunteers. Many broken kids without proper treatment, mentoring, education, and positive affirmation become bandaged adults who try to hide their emotional fragility from the world. TTM has been a balm to many youth in the Houston and surrounding area. They instill scholarship, leadership, citizenship, and entrepreneurship in the lives of the youth they touch.
Kudos
The Trouble Movement has help teens transpire there struggles and pains in situations to purpose and motivation to live a better life not to become a product of their circumstances. Also it gives spiritual growth reassuring teens growth comes from learning lessons as you continue to strive for success.
I have a brand new heart for TTM and everything they're doing with the community and children! It is an honor to serve on their Executive Board!
I have worked along side of TTM for 2 years now. I've helped them put on events that I have seen others fail at, but they always find a way to go above and beyond! Its always my pleasure to work with them!
They are doing something with the children in the community multiple times a month and you can actually see the positive shift with the children and their attitudes!
I have been blessed to meet such awesome, genuine people. In this day and age, it is rare to have people in your life that motivate you, and correct you in love. Please get to know The Troubled Movement, Inc. I'm glad to be a part of this organization.

As a supporter of local non-profit organizations, The Troubled Movement is my favorite! This organization is passionate about being a change in their communities through; community programs, mentorships and volunteer opportunities. The most recent act of humility was demonstrated in the organizations most recent decision to adopt families that were effected by Hurricane Harvey. This is only one example on how the organization embodies it’s mission to service the community.
The Troubled Movement has been a positive movement in Houston, Texas. The Troubled Movement has hosted events for Survivors of Hurricane Harvey! The all women board also put together an Education walk to raise scholarship money to give back to lucky hard working high school seniors from the Houston Community. The organization hosts annual events to promote overall human health. I am looking forward to their spring break event for boys and girls that promote health, fitness, and good nutrition. I love The Troubled Movement!!
