Mission: Led by a committed volunteer group of community leaders, the Pappas Foundation works hard to raise funds and community awareness for the unique needs of homeless and underprivileged children. The Pappas Foundation was established in 1995 to raise funds for the Thomas J. Pappas School for homeless children in downtown Phoenix. Though this program serves over 1,000 students each year, this unfortunately meets just a fraction of the need. There are over 10,000 homeless and underprivileged children in the Phoenix area. The Pappas Foundation now funds several types of programs serving these children, no matter what school they attend. Our expansion allows us to reach thousands more children who need our support. The Pappas Foundation's programs are giving these children the chance they deserve for a brighter future.
