Causes: Homeless & Housing, Sports
Mission: We are comprised of young ambitious individuals who strive to make a difference in the lives of others. Primarily based out of NYC, our intention is to serve homeless and low-income men, women and children by providing clothing, food, and conversation. Along with these efforts we will be focusing on supporting and promoting professional wrestlers who do not work for largely recognized wrestling companies (otherwise known as independent wrestlers). By purchasing the merchandise these wrestlers sell we will be saying "thank you" to them for putting their bodies on the line for our mere entertainment (and at such a low pay). We will be putting their merchandise to good use by distributing these items to the aforementioned individuals in need. We pride ourselves on being a 100% fan-run organization, run by young, brilliant and philanthropic individuals who will always be available to those in need. We wish to spread the fighting spirit of those who professionally battle in the ring to those who struggle and need it most.
Results: Superkick the Holidays was our first fundraiser to thank the Young Bucks by purchasing merchandise that they sold, and then spreading their message of positivity by giving these items to those in need: homeless and low-income individuals, families, and veterans. We launched this on November 1st, 2015, and in two weeks, we reached our goal of $1000, and on March 3rd, 2016, we hosted our own #CharityParty by ordering pizza, setting up the gimmick table, and giving these items to people--veterans in this case--who needed them. It was a life changing event. The Superkick Foundation is also proud to have donated the funds that you all helped us raise through our #SuperkickHate campaign a couple of months ago to the Equality Florida Institute on Monday, August 8th. The successful campaign moved over 21 shirts in 14 days, and combined with additional donations, raised a grand total of $407.07
