Mission: To support the rescue, rehabilitation and understanding of wild birds such as sparrows locally, and around the world, and to allow our rescue efforts to positively influence and benefit people in underserved communities near and far.
Target demographics: orphansed baby birds and people who find them and aren't sure what the next steps should be
Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 300 baby sparrows, finches and other birds locally in New Mexico, and many more across the world.
Geographic areas served: Albuquerque, New Mexico, and offer guidance on a global scale
Programs: - 24/7 rescue and rehabilitation for wild baby birds in the greater Albuquerque area. - Baby songbird rehabilitation classes -Animal-assisted therapy sessions with some of our nonreleasable sparrows - Remote Guidance and advice to people across the world on songbird rescue, medical or husbandry-related aspects
