This was a truly disappointing experience. It is not the Singing Angels of years ago at all.
There was a lot of right wing propaganda that they disseminate to and through children. As the age of the choir increases, the diversity significantly decreases. At my first concert the staff were busy trying to remove earrings from children with newly pierced ears, and the parent volunteer leaders told me that I should leave the country. The new executive director dismissed my concerns.
Founded in 1964 and also known as The Singing Angels, this group is comprised off almost 300 children annually. have been involved with them since 2005. I have watched it grow and continuously improve. The staff are dedicated to providing great experiences for the children. They truly instruct the children in a way that allows them to personally excel. There are children from ages 6 - 18, in three choruses. Any child interested in performing would not be disappointed.
