"Just a quick note of thanks for the two soccer camps that my two boys attended, they enjoyed themselves immensely. They had a lot of fun while developing skills that will help them in their upcoming soccer season.
All of the coaches did a fine job with the kids, and I saw a lot of smiles coming off of the field when the day was done. Keep up the great work! "
I like how supportive they are. They understand that we are kids, we think different of things and people. They share advice about being more focused. We can talk about anything and we know it's a time to play and a time not to.
What I like about my Dreamline coach is she's supportive, caring, respectful, and
understands you. She's accountable and I can trust her with everything. She's
really nice and helpful.
To anyone that has a heart for youth ~ I am a professional educator with over 15 years of experience in both K-12 and Higher Education. This summer, I had the unique privilege to partner with the Sanneh Foundation through its signature program, Dreamline. Working alongside TSF's dedicated professionals, Dreamline Coaches, to remove barriers to educational equity, has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my educational career. The Coaches are highly dedicated to culturally responsive teaching practices, a crucial component of teaching and learning for ALL students. I have seen firsthand their influence to nurture and empower our youth. The Sanneh Foundation is to be commended for their selfless efforts to improve our learning communities. Thank you to everyone in this wonderful organization for making a difference in the lives of our future leaders! ~ Dr. Tia Taylor
A 6th grader I teach was having some serious emotional upset. I offered to meet the school social worker with them because they said they didn't feel safe at home. At one point the social worker asked the child if she felt like there was any adult at school they could trust or feel safe with. Without a second of thought, the child said “I can trust Chavonn, Juan, and Brad.” I immediately recognized the three Sanneh Foundation Dreamline Coaches by name, and was happy they'd built relationships with this student.
Making friends - your student coaches are awesome! I didn't expect such a great emphasis on
relationships. I'm very impressed by Sanneh's culture and would choose friendships over soccer skills any day. Thank you!
The Dreamline Coaches can give you attention that you need and you aren’t
experiencing with your teachers, or with anyone. And you can talk to them. It’s
not just about school work. They’re there for you.
Our daughters took a camp at Longfellow. It was such a great program and the girls learned so much. I would also like to share that Eric worked so well with the kids, families, and the junior coaches. We wanted to help support the program.
Thank you for all you do to support the community.
My daughters have so enjoyed the camp. It has been a wonderful experience for them. And we look forward to seeing you--rain or shine : ).
For the past several years, I have worked with The Sanneh Foundation collaborating on the summer soccer camps through Minneapolis Parks and Recreation. I value their vision to provide access to FREE youth soccer camps throughout the city and provide teens with opportunities to assist with these camps. They have a good camp "template." Parents and participants appreciate their offerings. Sanneh has also been involved in park events. They've been generous with their involvement and resources.
More recently, The Sanneh Soccer Foundation connected with international students and families at an International Welcome Picnic at the University of Minnesota. They did a great job of engagement at that event.
I appreciate their purpose and their grassroots approach to fulfill their mission!
