The Sacred Earth Foundation is an important vehicle in this time on earth. Pati and her work stewarding ancient teachings of elders, holding space for ceremony and lessons, and sharing the land that teaches more than one could explain has been an important part of my life.It is now when we as a people need to look into indigenous wisdom and cosmovision, because these teachings offer a unique view of how to live in reciprocity with life and our planet. Every step has an impact, and we can live in a better way as a human consciousness even in a modernized world. The sweat lodges bring community together and she’d away our physical and spiritual toxins. The initiation program allows participates to remember their immense power and realize themselves as major change makers and powerful beings on this planet. In our belief and ability to connect with life through prayer, we can truly do powerful things. The Sacred Earth Foundation is a wealth of peace and lessons from indigenous elders, and in supporting this foundation - we are preserving culture and ideologies that might just save the planet from spiritual and environmental peril.I give this group 5 stars, and would be happy to talk to anyone personally who would like more information or energy as to why to support or get involved.

I'm very cautious when it comes to foo foo healing ritual blah blah gatherings, & by cautious I mean outright skeptical bc most of it is bs. Pati & her son are the REAL DEAL. I felt the cleansing effects for days after. I'm donating > what she asks. I hope she does this again when I'm back. I wanna roll in the snow btwn rounds next time. I just hope my POS car can make it there in winter.

The Sacred Earth Foundation is a treasure. I have benefited from its programs and support in many ways over the years. Founder Pati Turner has a passion and aptitude for bringing indigenous sages and healers from around the world to share their much needed wisdom with others. Pati herself is a healer and through her own programs helps people heal, become the person they are meant to be, and empowers them to bring their gifts into the world. In particular, her 6 month Women's Initiations course was life changing for me, and her sweatlodges are events of healing, inspiration, growth, hope and community. Her overhead is low as she receives help from many volunteers. I always know my donations are spent wisely and put to good use.

From the wonderful shamanic teachers that Pati sponsors to Pati's personal programs, I have found deep connection to myself, to Spirit, to my community and to the planet and all life. Pati leads beautiful ceremonies and heart opening summer long journey's. She asks you to see yourself differently, to express to beauty and talent within you, and honor the planet in which we live on. I have done one of her summer long events which challenged me in ways I thought I was strong at, it made me look at myself more which made my grow into a better human. My wife and I also had Pati do a special ceremony/sweat lodge for a very challenging decision in our marriage that helped us release our anger and sadness around it.
Pati holds beauty, powerful, and safe space no matter what the event is. Aho!

Pati is phenomenal, bringing the most interesting shamanic teachers and healers from around the world. Just look at her website! I have attended most of her events. The quality of the teachers, the land, the organization, the simple rustic facilities, and Pati's motherly caring and oversight are above anything I have experienced.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to Pati, the founder of Sacred Earth. She brings world class indigenous elders to her land to share their knowledge. She walks her talk and is an activist for the earth who is filled with love. She shares her own knowledge generously and is an Elder in the true sense of the word. I have enjoyed several programs and experiences at Sacred Earth. The groups that form around Pati and Sacred Earth have filled me with a sense of community and tribe each and every time. My heart is in such gratitude for Tierra Sagrada, The Sacred Earth Foundation. I have personally experienced, as well as witnessed countless others go through, profound change due to the wonderful programs, teachings and workshops here. The founder Pati Turner is amazing and has a heart of gold. Her smile, wisdom, expertise and commitment to her work at Sacred Earth is beyond inspiring and transformative.

My husband and I both went through Pati's life changing Sacred Paths of Initiation, have attended countless programs, and have even helped with some, as well as facilitated. Pati is wonderful to work with in all capacities, and attracts wonderful teachers and community. I am so grateful for all the healing and magic that has happened in my life and the lives of others at Tierra Sagrada.

The Sacred Earth Foundation is one of the most enlightened organizations I have ever known. Pati Turner is one of the most visionary, hard-working souls I know with a kind an gentle spirit, bringing together people of different cultures who are interested in spiritual and physical healing of humanity and the earth. Every event I have gone to through Tierra Sacrada has been very profound. I, too, have worked with many different indigenous cultures for the healing of the earth, and I know it is difficult and challenging work. I support this foundation totally.

It is with great honor, respect and gratitude that I wish to acknowledge and support the work of The Sacred Earth Foundation. My name is Art Cisneros and my mother's name is Beatrice Robles Cisneros, I belong to my mother's clan of Chumash People. I am a firekeeper for my community. I was introduced to Pati Turner, the Founder of The Sacred Earth Foundation, through a mutual friend at the time in 2007 when she was working with Don Alejandro, a 13th generation Quique Mayan Priest, and supporting the "Shift of the Ages" a movie about his message to the world. Soon after, she called to ask my help with the protocal with the local Chumash community. The event and presentation truly helped to heal and transform everyone there, and I became aware of and understood, the significance of the work that Pati has humbly taken on at great expence to herself, both energetically and financially. In July of 2007 I asked Pati to help me host Angaangaq, an Inuit Shaman from Greenland to the Santa Barbara area. Through her work she helped our community to heal and transform at three events with Angaangaq. Hundreds of people have been helped and inspired to do their own work to fulfill their purpose for being here in service to others. I continue to be moved by the passion Pati shares with everyone about her love for the Mother Earth and all who reside here. Through her work bringing the wisdom of the elders from around the globe, she is helping to bring balance and understanding to our world by teaching us how to love each other unconditionally. Pati has helped me personally with her healing abilities and inspired me to new to new awareness through her unconditional love. This is the moment that we can all help The Sacred Earth Foundation to continue with this important work. I am honored to now be a member of the Board of Directors since March of 2009. I ask that you take responsibility as a caretaker of Mother Earth and share your abundance so this transformative work can continue. Thank you for being an important chapter to bringing balance and peace back to our planet. Meta Tantay (Walk in Peace)

I have been to several events sponsored by Tierra Sagrada, The Sacred Earth Foundation during the last two years. They have all been very uplifting experiences, well organized, and presented with care and kindness to diverse audiences. I had been searching for an organization that would champion the ancient indigenous wisdom and spirituality offered by many different cultures worldwide, and was amazed to find this group operating in my home town of Santa Barbara, California. There is an aching need in our society for a re-connection with earth-based spirituality, the kind often offered by ancient traditional cultures. And many of the elders of these traditions are now, for the first time, willing to share their wisdom with others. The Sacred Earth Foundation is one of very few organizations working to facilitate the connection between traditional spiritual leaders worldwide and those of us needing to reconnect with Mother Earth. They have successfully offered workshops, weekend retreats, lectures, and informal gatherings featuring indigenous elders and wisdom keepers from several cultures: Mayan, Inka, Greenland Eskimo, Chumash (indigenous to our Santa Barbara area) and upcoming events with Dine' (Navajo) and Sangoma (Botswana, Africa) representatives. I have gotten to know Pati Turner, the founder and CFO of this organization, and recommend her very highly. I am so impressed with the work she has done thus far with very little resources, and know that her dedication and enthusiasm will lead to even more amazing accomplishments, given the financial backing this organization so richly deserves. --Katey O'Neill

I am honored to be on the board of such a heart-felt grassroots organization! Founder and president, Patricia Turner, has made it her life's mission to bring forth the voices of some of the most underserved and ignored populations on this planet, those of indigenous peoples. In addition, she is committed to encouraging practices that engage and respect the Earth. As a psychologist who comes from an ecopsychological and integrative perspective, I cannot speak strongly enough about the need to support this organization in the mosaic of grant recipients. With more funding, Tierra Sagrada The Sacred Earth Foundation, can branch out into other domains of the local and global community, including, but not limited to integrative healthcare.

As Chairman of the Central Coast Wine Classic, I presented to our Board of Directors a grant request from Tierra Sagrada, that would create funding for hosting an indigenous elder who was to present the wisdom of his culture to the local Santa Barbara community. Our Board had never granted funds for such a project, but the members were extraordinarily supportive of the concept and approved the grant request, as well as asking if they could come to the event. It was thoroughly special and remarkable, and we are not only pleased to have taken a part in its presentation, we are honored to be associated with such an extraordinary non-profit organization and its substantive and transcendent vision.

Our organization Sacred Earth Network (SEN) - www.sacredearthnetwork.org - has been working with Tierra Sagrada/The Sacred Earth Foundation since 2008. The similarity in the names of our organizations are similarities in spirit, but they are coincidental. We provided a grant for the Tierra Sagrada's project to make a CD recording of traditional songs and folklore of Chumash elders. The CD was created with a relatively small amount of money, but it came out wonderfully with clearly a large effort from the Tierra Sagrada and its community to produce a valuable source for generations to come. Sacred Earth Network is proud to have sponsored this project. We feel that there is a strong commitment from the organization and its president Patricia Turner to preservation and revival of traditional knowledge of indigenous people of our planet. We continue to provide support for this project in 2009.
