The Ripple Effect helps Guatemalans living in the highest mountains of Gautamala. I visited Gautemala many years ago and found the native Mayan residents to be very kind yet very poor. The infant mortality rate is so high that they often don't give their infants name untill they are 2 years old. The Ripple Effect helps by working with the local governments to provide water; it gives coffee plants so the people can grow their own cash crops, and it p;rovides livestock to widows so they can riase their own foor. It is a very worthwhile organization that uses almost all of its donation on the Gautemalan people. Please support it.
