Witnessing the impact and efforts RKF makes to improve the childrens' wellbeing especially through education and help the people in need of neccesities, inspires me to serve more towards the community!.
I had the privilege of volunteering with the Rahul Kotak Foundation, where I participated in the Dental Initiative for Primary Schools (DIPS). The experience was both fulfilling and educational, as we worked closely with children, teaching them the importance of dental hygiene and how to brush their teeth properly.
The foundation's commitment to improving the lives of children is evident through initiatives like DIPS, which focuses on instilling healthy habits early on. As a volunteer, I witnessed firsthand how engaged the children were, and it was rewarding to know that we were helping to shape their future health in a meaningful way.
I had a cooperative, exciting, and fulfilling time with The Rahul Kotak Foundation. I was able to engage with kids, other volunteers, and the foundation's board members during the experience, which helped me learn more about the events taking place and the work the foundation does to improve the lives of kids and families.

I had an amazing experience at with RKF. Being able to interact with the children was truly rewarding. I got to tutor and teach them new things, which not only helped them but also allowed me to learn from their curiosity and perspectives. As a field intern in one of the partnering schools, it was a great experience witnessing at the grassroot level the impact that RKF is making in the community. That is providing food to pupils in the informal settlement. Food is a basic need though to some it may be complex to access thereby hindering their wellbeing and operations,for instance, to the children it affects their education. Big up to RKF for purposing to attend to this need in the community. I witnessed that cup of uji and the balanced plate at lunchtime puting a smile on a child's face making learning easy.
Professionally, RKF has been a place of career growth for me. The experience that I had in the field installed in me various skills that are key in my profession.

RKF is doing a great job in helping the less privileged in the society. The team work co-ordination is always epic!! I volunteered for their meal kit distribution and also their girls’ empowerment workshop. They are also very friendly.
My name is Robert, a graphics designer who's had the chance to work with The Rahul Kotak Foundation and seen first hand, some of the work they have done. Most notably the transformation of a wornout store to a beautiful library for kids without reach.
im also aware of their fundraising for free meals for school kids who really need it. Will be attending their latest walk-a-thon to raise funds for starting a library for 1,800 students in Nyalenda.
I had the chance to volunteer at the Rahul Kotak Foundation. The founders and entire team of this organization are a true definition of love, care and compassion, which they extend willingly to vulnerable children in the community. Through interaction with their feeding program and sanitary pad distribution workshop, I believe with no doubt that they have the potential to impact greatly in the entire world.
The Rahul Kotak Foundation Kenya is an NGO that aims at providing QUALITY education accessible to young generation most especially to the marginalized. It's impact has been felt countrywide as it engages the young and provide a conducive environment by giving them books, food among other basics. The organization has been of great importance to the girls (marginalized) as it provides the reusable sanitary towels to reduce the question of “where will I get my next pad?”, this creates a fair environment for both who can afford and those who can not afford the sanitary towels. I have engaged with the organization quite a number of times and it perfectly does well concerning their project.
So far, I have loved my experience at RKF. I can say for sure that I have immensely grown personally and professionally. The work environment is full of positivity and fun. The team is great, and working with them has enabled me to excel in my position.

RKF as a whole is an amazing team to work with. I recently volunteered for the July workshops and i must say i was quite impressed, not just by the organization or the workshops, but generally also by the way they conduct themselves. The people correlate and coexist its almost impossible to know whether or not they've worked together for a while now! I cannot wait for my next experience.

I volunteered at Rahul Kotak foundation for 5 months regularly and continue to do so sometimes till now. It was a wonderful experience, the work environment was highly enjoyable full of comradely and fun. Building relationships with the people we helped. The work RKF does is very important in the community.
I've had great experience with this nonprofit. Even though I'm a minor, i was allowed to volunteer, and gain experience as i didn't know how many people had all sorts of disadvantages, whether physical or financial. It made me realize how much help is needed for all of these people, which is why such an NGO exists... It really makes me feel joy when i help all sorts of people as a volunteer, especially when i see the smiles on all of these people. This nonprofit is really awesome! So i look forward to working with this nonprofit again!

We had a wonderful experience, as a class, during our meeting with the Rahul Kotak Foundation. We were learning and having fun at the same time! We were taught the right ways to prepare the soil for planting and how these plants help our atmosphere. We learnt the name of some very beautiful flowers while playing a game of seek the name of the plant by knowing how they look.
We learnt that this organization helps and provides for those in need in any way possible.
I truly believe this organization is trying to make a change in this world for the better and the least we can do is support them!

They work with integrity and transparency and are successful in accomplishing their mission and serving their cause. I volunteered at RKF for a bit over a month. The working environment was super inclusive, wholesome and considerate. They were super open to listening to the volunteers concerns and very flexible in catering towards them.

Rahul Kotak Foundation is an organization that has been able to reach their beneficiaries by themselves. It has taken the dedication of the director to make sure that the intended beneficiaries receive what is meant for them. It's a result oriented organization. The programs are also well structured hence making the work easier for their volunteers to deliver to the beneficiaries. I was part of the sanitary workshops and had a great experience while with them.
It was a great experience participating in the Menstrual health and hygiene workshops, done by RKF. It provided a playform to empower young girls and the volunteers too. The team is also welcoming and engaging.
I would highly recommend the NGO, had a great time volunteering with them.

I volunteered during a fun trip workshop where students of some schools were taken out to a local park to see the wild life. It was so much fun interacting with the children.

This was during an Arts & Crafts workshop where the kids from one of the schools' that RKF works with made caterpillars out of egg trays. The children did an amazing job with their crafts.
I personally had a great time too with the children and with the RKF team. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming.

Empathy... A child getting called by name and not by class placement. A child playing new games, and slowly getting comfortable with making mistakes around adults. Empathy that's what RKF invokes. And that inspires to do more.

I was introduced to the RKF by one of my friends earlier this year, and so I volunteered for it in July/August. I had a great experience whilst engaging with the young children at the schools we visited. The volunteering team was brilliant, and very enjoyable to work with.
All in all, RKF is a fantastic organization and I wouldn’t hesitate to volunteer again.
Working with RKF was a fruitful experience not only for the children we help but also for the volunteers. In one of the events, we set up different workshops out of with the dental workshop was my favourite. We taught children at a school in the slums of kisumu how to maintain good oral hygiene . It was educational but also fun. They remembered the brushing technique through a song we taught them. Definately, one of the most fulfilling moments, watching the kids smile with happiness and gratitude. RKF has to be the most organized , well planned NGO I have worked with!
What a sight it is to see such a lovely team help out the little ones. And how the little ones took to them you'd think they've known each other since birth. The RKF group ruly makes a visible and tangible difference in the places they work. They've shown the meaning of what it is to truly care and I wish upon them eternal blessings.

The dedication the foundation has is just amazing! They are all very kind and welcoming. They put in so much effort to help out in areas the government doesn't. I was a volunteer and I have to say they did a very good job. Organised, Well managed and just connected with the kids. My experience with Rahul Kotak foundation has been phenomenal mostly with one of the founders Mansi, a very lovely being.
