My 10 year old son Travis is an avid race car fan facing huge, daily medical challenges. The Race Day Foundation provided him, and the rest of our family, an experience at the track where he could "escape" the medical challenges being completely immersed in his element...racing. During our experience at the track, our family met and interacted with many drivers. Travis was thrilled to meet some of his heroes and even race with them in his power chair (and won!!) or with his car collection. This experience has carried Travis through the difficult medical challenges this year brought into his life. Thank you Jill Beck and all those who make this possible with The Race Day Foundation!!

To say our 10 year old son eats, breathes, lives racing would be an understatement, he is a racer trapped in a kid's body. Travis bravely faces the challenges of neurofibromatosis (NF) in his daily life due to his large tumor, bone issues, and other concerns. Thanks to Jill Beck, The Race Day Foundation, and their supporters, Travis sheds the medical issues relating to NF while at the track. During the weekend, we notice Travis in his true element...racing. Jill Beck, the drivers, teams, and those involved with racing provide an environment of caring, support, and compassion. These experiences boost Travis' spirit and provide a healing that carries him through the challenges he faces. The Race Day Foundation also provides these same, up-close experiences for all members of the family. Travis' siblings also share his passion for racing and this provides an opportunity for them to heal as well. Thank you Jill Beck and The Race Day Foundation for creating these opportunities to heal the spirit!!!
The Race Day Foundation rocks! We recently had an awesome event at Sonoma Raceway, arranged and hosted by The Race Day Foundation. It was great to disconnect from life, and to spend time with race drivers, organizers, and fellow race fans for the day. Jill Beck from The Race Day Foundation clearly understands not only the racing world, but how to support those living with medical conditions, and the families who love them. Thank you Jill, and thank you Race Day Foundation, for doing what you do.
My son has NF which has caused tumors in his brain leaving him blind. Being blind, there are many things others think he can’t or shouldn’t do. Going to “see” the Long Beach Gran Prix is probably not something that many would consider a blind kid would enjoy. The Race Day Foundation made sure that Ryder truly experienced a race day. He was able to interact with all kinds of drivers, team owners, and even the cars! The Race Day Foundation really went out of their way to find an interactive way for Ryder to experience a race day. They even had a driver walk Ryder around a race car feeling the contours of the body and the tires as the car was about to go on to the track! Ryder had an amazing time going to a race and is definitely a new fan of racing. We can’t thank The Race Day Foundation enough for giving Ryder this once in a lifetime experience.
