Love love LOVE the Quell Foundation. I was grateful to be a scholarship recipient four years ago and have been even more rewarded to involve myself more with the foundation, including speaking at the annual Masquerade Ball to share my own story of mental health and as a brother of a suicide victim. Quell does such a wonderful job bringing together people’s voices and inspiring so many in their efforts to remove the stigma.

The Quell Foundation has made a huge impact in my life! After receiving the Fighter Scholarship, I have felt much less alone and more supported in all my endeavors. The work that this organization does is incredible and especially necessary in today's difficult times. I am incredibly grateful to have the Quell community in my life and will continue to be an advocate for mental health, inspired by Quell and its people!

The Quell Foundation came into my life after I received the Fighter Scholarship. Since then I have gained the courage to be open about my mental illness. I am even minoring in Psychology because of the inspiration of the Quell Foundation.

This organization has not only supported me financially but has also supported me and many others mentally. The Quell Foundation truly cares about the mental health of everyone they can reach and I absolutely love everything they stand for and love getting the chance to be a part of it.

The Quell Foundation is a phenomenal organization dedicated to removing the stigma around mental health! I first became involved with Quell in the summer of 2020 as an intern for them, and am currently one of the Junior Board members. The Quell Foundation has taught me the importance of asking questions revolving around mental health, as well as being open to talking about my mental health more! The Quell Foundation has done amazing work so far, ranging from their documentary Lift the Mask: Portraits of Life with Mental Illness, to providing scholarships! The Quell Foundation has done so much for me and everyone else, and I am extremely grateful for them.

I've been fortunate enough to receive a scholarship through Quell for the past two years. However, I've been even more fortunate to be able to be an intern for the foundation and become a member of their Junior Board. The Quell Foundation has become a huge support system for me and allowed me to lift my mask. I will forever be grateful for all the foundation has done for me and I know they have had such a major impact on more lives than they will ever know.

I was fortunate to not only receive a scholarship from the Quell Foundation, but also to be given an opportunity to be part of their Junior Board. The Quell Foundation is incredibly supportive of its scholarship recipients, which I am incredibly grateful for. Furthermore, the foundation is full of wonderful, hard-working people who are all striving together to break down the stigma surrounding mental illness.

Quell came into mine and my family’s life at a time where we needed support. My little sister had recently been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and Quell provided cheerleading, support, and advocacy that we desperately needed. They even gave my sister and mom a platform to share their stories without fear of being stigmatized. We owe a lot to Quell and I’m constantly in awe of how they are able to continuously stay true to their mission despite their unbelievable growth over a short period of time.

The Quell Foundation has been a foundation that has impacted me personally! I am lucky to be a recipient of one of the scholarships they hand out but what has been more beneficial to me is the contact and connections the foundation make with everyone they come into contact with to make that individuals life shine!

I first became involved with The Quell Foundation when I was chosen as a scholarship recipient for their “Bridge the Gap” scholarship. This scholarship allowed me to take an extra class in equine assisted therapy, which in turn allowed me to be certified through my university in this specialty. Since then, Quell has provided me with numerous opportunities to grow and continue working with them on their mission to end the stigmas of mental health. I am forever grateful for Quell and all of the amazing work they do!

I will always be thankful for Quell. From granting me generous scholarships for college and mental health treatment to giving me professional experience working with their Junior Board, I am so grateful for the opportunities Quell has given me. Because of Quell, I have had the support and motivation to keep working hard despite my mentality telling me I couldn’t. I will be finishing my Bachelor’s degree this spring, and I am so thankful for the experience, support, and financial help Quell has given me over the years.

The Quell Foundation plays an integral and impactful role in public health and public safety. As an advocate for first responders, veterans and law enforcement, my experiences with Quell are exemplary of the foundation's commitment and dedication to mental health parity, community and human rights in a rapidly evolving online landscape. The Quell Foundation's mission is imperative to fostering preventative care strategies, successful outcomes, organized outreach, and meaningful clinical research outfits for the identification and humane interventions for mental health crises including self-harm, traumatic brain injury (TBI), vicarious trauma (VC), and PTSD, and suicide - far reaching traumas that not only affect the lives of first responders and combat veterans, but all of us.
