Causes: Health
Mission: The Parmenter Foundation’s mission is to create, support, implement and promote programs and activities that enhance the health and well-being of the Metrowest communities; primarily focusing on advancing state-of-the-art care, planning and education related to managing serious illness, end of life, and bereavement for all ages. The Parmenter Foundation seeks to help Metrowest families better cope.
Programs: The Parmenter Foundation supports hospice care at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland, Mass.; HEARTplay℠ and Camp Erin® Boston, CareGroup Parmenter Home Care and Hospice’s award-winning children’s bereavement support program and camp; MetroWest Free Medical Program in Sudbury; the Parmenter Food Pantry; Behavioral Health Partners of MetroWest; and Family Promise Metrowest.
