Mission: The P.E.E.R. Center is a drop-in wellness, recovery and support center. Operational since January 2007, our mission is to provide a safe place where individuals receive respect, encouragement, and hope that supports and strengthens their recovery in mental health, addictions and trauma.
Target demographics: persons experiencing challenges with mental illness, addiction or trauma
Direct beneficiaries per year: more than 1,000 people at two locations
Geographic areas served: Franklin County
Programs: daily support groups, education and skills building with regard to living with and coming with mental illness, and support for alcohol and drug addiction recovery.
