Mission:
The Natural Step Monona advocates for, educates about, and promotes a sustainable Monona.
Programs: Study Circles are once-per-week meetings for discussion, sharing, and learning about ways to apply principles of sustainability to all aspects of our community, and ways to encourage all stakeholders to change harmful policies and behaviors into ones that preserve natural eco-systems and our planet. As of May 2010, The Natural Step Monona has organized and facilitated seventeen circles, helping to expand the number of people in the Monona community and beyond who are conversant about and taking steps toward a more sustainable future. In fall 2010, we began Study Arcs, three three-week programs that offer the content of the Study Circle in more "bite-sized" segments.
