Mission: The National Theatre Foundation's mission is to serve DC’s community with high caliber performing arts including Broadway productions, classical and popular entertainment, and award-winning educational programming, to promote DC as a vibrant cultural destination, and contribute to the city’s economic vitality. Our organization's vision is to impact American theatre with entertainment experiences of exceptional merit; inspire audiences and performers through our decades-long commitment to diverse educational programs that develop intellect through creativity; celebrate our legacy as an historic cultural venue in the heart of the city; and preserve our place at the core of American theatre history as the venue where legendary performers and performances are experienced.
