I have several experiences with services made possible through The Memorial Foundation. All of our foster children have benefitted from services provided in Yakima because of donations to The Memorial Foundation. When we had concerns about the development of our Children, services were available to answer our questions and assist in development milestones for the kids.They help provide Mammograms for women as well as transportation for cancer patients and services for Neonatal Intensive Care.
As a donor who has not been personally affected by the foundation, I continue to donate because of friends who have been. Their experiences with cancer care and children"s village have been life changing and each experience a positive one. The Memorial Foundation is ever-growing and creating a reason to stay in Yakima for healthcare.
As a Human Resources professional at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital I take great pride in the amazing work that is accomplished through the tireless efforts of the Memorial Foundation. They serve our community in so many ways, whether through services for children, providing much needed health services to our community or investing in educational excellence by providing scholarships. One of the best parts of my job is talking to new recruits about the amazing things that Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital does for this community, and this is in large part due to the Memorial Foundation. I gladly donate, as I know my money goes to a good cause every time.
