Mission: Today, more multiracial babies are born in states like California, Oregon and Washington than any other race except Caucasian. However, there are almost no resources that address their unique challenges. One result, according to the Oregon Alliance of Children's Programs, is that mixed-race children are the fastest growing segment entering the juvenile justice system. The MAVIN Foundation is committed to educating people about multiracial youth and how they can be best served in family settings, schools and diversity training.
