Mission: The mariinsky foundation of america, inc. (the foundation) is a not-for-profit organization incorporated under the not-for-profit corporation law of the state of california. The foundation was established to sponsor, promote and encourage the performing arts, especially opera, ballet and orchestra music, and for these purposes to sponsor performances by performing artists and performing arts organizations in the united states and elsewhere, including the performing arts companies of the state academic mariinsky theatre of the russian federation (including the mariinsky opera, ballet and orchestra). The foundation was also established to sponsor and promote educational activities in connection with the study of the performing arts, and to promote international understanding of the performing arts of the various societies around the world.
Programs: Mariinsky orchestra opera ballet tours - the purpose of mariinsky tours is to bring the finest global performing artists to the forefront of the musical world. This is accomplished through the mariinsky's american tours featuring performances throughout the united states, including brooklyn academy of music, carnegie hall, and leading venues across the usa.
mariinsky theatre & orchestra instruments - the mariinsky orchestra is considered to be one of the greatest symphony ensembles of international stature. The mariinsky foundation of america, inc is proud to have supported the purchase of trumpets in support of the mariinsky's international tours.
