Causes: Blind & Visually Impaired Centers, Disabilities, Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: Our Mission is to create and enhance opportunities for independence and self-sufficiency of people who are blind, Deaf-Blind, and blind with other disabilities.
Results: The Lighthouse has provided employment and support to blind people in our community since 1918. Currently we employ over 300 employees, more than 200 of whom are blind, Deaf-Blind, or blind with other disabilities.
Programs: Braille Literacy, Computer Training Program, , Orientation and Mobility Training, Deaf-Blind Program, Interpretting Services, Supported Employment ProgramHousing Program, Ethel L. Dupar’s Fragrant Garden
