Working with LegUp and the homeless population has been a blessing. It has renewed my energy to be doing something productive, taking me from watching my favorite Westerns on TV to delivering meaningful services to a population totally new to my previous experiences. Reaching out and offering ideas for individuals to reach their potentials and to do what they enjoying doing is extremely rewarding. Teaching self-coaching skills has been my passion for years. Just when I thought I was through with the work world, LegUp offered me an opportunity to get back to being productive. Although I am only part-time, the opportunity to be a contributor allows me to feel "I'm back in the saddle again - only not in front of the TV! Thank you LegUp!

Mission: The Leg Up Program is dedicated to ending homelessness by providing caring support, education, employment assistance, housing assistance, and innovative programs designed to empower individuals to achieve self-sufficiency. Leg Up develops and implements model programs in partnership with community resources to strengthen individuals while contributing to a healthier community.
Results: The Leg Up Program has provided an environment based on integrity, compassion, honesty, respect, good stewardship, and professionalism through positive and caring relationships, that affect positive consistent change in the lives of its clients.
