Mission: To transform lives through jazz arts education.
Target demographics: transform lives through jazz ats education
Direct beneficiaries per year: 500 students, 30 educators and 150 seniors.
Geographic areas served: Washington Heights and Inwood
Programs: Jazz Power Youth: Providing jazz music, dance and theatre group and private lessons to youth ages 10-18. Jazz Power Educators: Training 40-50 educators a year through our Jazz Power Institute, and collaborating with several other institutions throughout the Country. Jazz Power Seniors: Providing quality arts education and performances working in conjunction with several senior centers in Manhattan and The Bronx.
