Mission: The mission of the nonprofit resource center is to enhance the resources and improve the management of nonprofit organizations, primarily within california's northern central valley and sierra nevada regions.
Programs: The nonprofit resource center offers strategies for organizational success in the areas of:leadership development of executive, staff and volunteer leadershipceolinked networkboard linkorganizational capacityeducation for the development of successful business practicesseminars on all aspects of nonprofit managementexecutive director boot campfund development and grant writing seminarsadministrative products including credit card processing, health insurance and human resources supportknowledgeresources and information for better business decisionsinformation regarding the latest trends in nonprofit managementspecialized reference and lending librariesspecial research projectslearninglink collaborative learning environmentsoffered nearly 97 classes attended by 1,741 people in the nonprofit communityprovided more than 450 contact hours of professional development programming to nonprofit executive and management staffprovided free workshops for members and affinity groups which were attended by850 individualsprovided 7 ed network sessions attended by 102 nonprofit chief executives. Provided 12 specialty conferences and meetings serving 621 attendees and representing 50 educational contact hours1,996 people relied on the center for information through visiting, calling or mailing center staffthe center continued its partnership with the placer collaborative network, allowing us to serve an additional 98 organizations with over 2000 staff memberscontinued to fortify and build on to the centers website packed with tools and resoures and continued to offer online education optionsthe center was grateful for the support of us bank, wells fargo, the teichert foundation, placer community foundation, the sacramento metropolitan arts commission and the sierra health foundation and western health advantage for their sponsorship of the center's educational offerings. The center accomplished all of its work with 2 full-time and 2 part time staff people, over 50 pro bono trainers and several paid consultants.
