I got the opportunity to work as a Project Finance Intern with the organization under the guidance of the Project Manager. Although working with numbers can be stressful at times, it is through the crunching of numbers that I got to learn more about the significance of each project, and the impact it has on the people. I am really enjoying my time at The Hope Venture; the people are wonderful, the culture is great, and it has just been a great experience overall.

The Hope Venture continues to come alongside local leaders in a variety of countries to serve people and communities with the highest integrity and transparency I’ve yet to see in any other organization. They don’t just walk out projects, they know people by name and can tell you real people’s stories not because they are reporters but because they enter into genuine relationship with people. They lead by example, people are noticing and want to be a part of it, lives are being changed and people are healing through relationship.
Love the 100% model, so I can choose to either help with admin expenses or directly to a program.
I started by sponsoring a HS student in Kenya. Then got asked to join the board. The staff is great people and the more I learn the more I respect the organization and helping to get people out of the extreme poverty cycle.
The Hope Venture is a wonderful non-profit. They have a 100% model where 100% of money given toward a specific project actually goes 100% toward that project. They can do this because they have Backbone donors that cover the cost of the staff and other operating costs. It is the most honest way to run a non-profit. All their projects are vetted and checked up upon to make sure the money is being used responsibly. I highly recommend them!

The Hope Venture is an amazing non-profit that makes me feel like even though I’m living in the middle of a Nebraska, I’m helping impoverished people all over the world. It reminds me that my charitable giving locally has —actual—global impact. It’s exciting to be a part of an organization that is doing amazing things. I feel great about giving financially to The Hope Venture, because all of the money goes where I want it to. I donate to their “backbone” team, and that money goes to running the organization, and I sponsor a student and that money goes directly to her schooling costs. There’s just a lot of transparency, is what I’m trying to say, and I like that. They also produce amazing videos and send out high quality mailings to show the impact they are having. I attended the Night for Hope fundraiser in October. The staff was able to navigate through all of the logistics of doing an outdoor event this year. I commend them for having a very professional, motivating event while providing a Covid safe environment.

I've been involved with The Hope Venture for many years, and the work they do is incredible. They are creative and fun yet humble in their approach to how they impact peoples lives. They are on a mission to bring hope and dignity to people around the world and that's what they do day in and day out.
I love the Hope Venture! The leadership and staff are awesome! They have such passion and spirit around the work they do. I love that they work directly with members of the communities their serving to make sure the money and resources donated are being used to properly support that population. I also think their student sponsorship program is sweet! Sponsors get direct communication from their student! So cool!
The Hope Venture is a nonprofit unlike many others that I've seen. Their goal is to provide hope and diginity to those around the world who make less than $1 dollar a day, a group of people who are largely forgotten about in this world. And they do so by helping the local people who are already over there working for those around them. They bring hope and support to those who are already doing good work, and to me that creates a perfect way to help lift others up.

I have felt personally touched by this organization in that they have sought me out as a college student at a large university and made me feel like I can be a part of the life-change that they promote. They are true to their mission of bringing hope and dignity to the most disadvantaged people in the world by hosting events, through their student sponsorship program, and other things through their social media. I have always felt like they cared about me on an individual level and like a part of their community through their events like the Run for Hope or the Night for Hope. I never feel emotionally manipulated or pressured to donate and they are adamant about finding creative and fun ways to fundraise throughout the year.
There are so many things I love about this nonprofit. Obviously the first thing is what they do but almost equally important is how they do it. The Hope Venture has an awesome model that every dollar I give it goes directly to projects. That is super encouraging for me knowing that my money is helping overseas! They have so many opportunities to get involved whether that is sponsoring a student in Uganda monthly, running miles for backups for children in India who need to go to school, or volunteering at an event they hold. The Hope Venture makes it easy to get involved and they make you feel like you are apart of the change (which is true)! They never pressure you but encourage you to take steps to help! Last, they have an incredibly kind staff that is easy to work with! I love The Hope Venture, I love what they do, and I love how they do it!
