For those who want a better understanding of how the world works, particularly regarding economics, this School offers classes based mainly on works of Henry George. You'll build on your own knowledge and experience to understand why poverty becomes a worsening problem even as societies prosper, and you'll understand Henry George's proposal to end poverty, and how works in 21st-century America. It isn't impossible to learn these things on your own, and there are on-line classes available, but in my opinion the best way is to sit down in a small group with a knowledgeable instructor.
The School does not claim to teach you anything that will make you wealthy, but some of the material covered may be of assistance in improving your own economic situation.
The School also sponsors single-session discussions, movies, tours, and other events, most of which are open to all without charge.
