I've volunteered for Citizens on the River (formerly RiverFest) for several years now and am consistently impressed by The Greenway Foundation. They are an organized, responsible, and fun organization. It's always one of my favorite days of the summer!

TGF is an organization that does a wonderful job of engaging with the community. Through free family and community events, volunteer opportunities, and programs for school-aged children (through SPREE!), TGF forges a connection between the people of Denver and our South Platte River.

I retired from the Denver Parks Platte River maintenance district and over my tenure I developed a professional and personal rlelationship with the Greenway Foundation. After retirement I was asked to serve on the board of the Greenway Foundation, and did not hesitate to join and continue my relationship with The Greenway. The Greenway Foundation is (and for many years) has been the very "foundation" of the river and the city of Denver. From park restoration, environmental improvements, land development, construction oversight, education, special events, and volunteer support the Greenway Foundation has been a crucial player in making Denver what it is today. I was very appreciative to have the Greenway as a partner when I worked for the parks department and now I am very proud to be affiliated with such a noble organization.

I volunteer regularly with Gold-Unlimted, an non-profit that promotes the preservation of our gold mining history and the access to mining areas for modern day causal prospectors. We regularly work with The Greenway Foundation through their SPREE summer camp program to teach the camp counselors and the kids to pan for gold in our local waterways. The Greenway Foundation also supports us actively as a non-profit by helping us manage our funds. They are a very focused, caring organization and have always been a pleasure to collaborate with, especially with the kids!

What an impact this group has had in our fair City! The Greenway offers many levels of access for people to get involved, and they host some really cool events.

Also, what's not to love about improving our rivers and adjoining parks!!

Earth Force contracts with Denver Public Works to provide the city's stormwater education program. The Greenway Foundation's SPREE is our most significant partner, by far. Their focus on the South Platte River blends well with our focus on youth engagement. Together, we accomplish much more than we could separately.

It has been my pleasure to volunteer for several events sponsored by The Greenway Foundation. The staff have always been at the sites early to make sure everything was well organized and stayed late to clean up. Many enthusiastic families are involved in river/park cleanups and their annual fishing day. I am impressed with how committed the staff is to making their events successful, as well as, fun. It seems like once a family has had an experience with The Greenway Foundation, they return for future ones. I love that learning with this group is hands on and then followed by crafts for the family. The enthusiasm of the staff is contagious.

This past summer, Wild Wings Environmental Education had the privilege of presenting our owl program to The Greenway Foundation's day camp kids. Their staff was excellent with the campers and were well organized and ready for us to start our program right away. I was very impressed by how the campers and staff interacted... they had mutual respect for one another.

I had the privilege of working with Greenway this summer through their partnership with Jefferson County Workforce. Greenway provides excellent summer programming and was very supportive of the young people they hired to lead summer camps. It's cool to see an organization that is balanced both in delivering education and wanting to educate its young employees. I think the work they do is vital to creating conservation awareness in the metro and I hope they keep it up!

I had the privilege of working with SPREE this summer and was very impressed their organization of tasks and their dedication to the physical work they take on. They have been helping restore riparian areas in two separate natural areas, one a nature preserve and another an easement property, and did a great job getting their hands dirty and getting work done. I also got to know the group on a personal level and can't say enough about the humility and genuine care they give to each SPREE student. The SPREE students themselves are mature and wise beyond their years. An excellent group excelling at their work!

I have been working with the SPREE group of conservation projects for a weekend every summer for the past three years. The staff and kids are enthusiastic, hard working and always ready to learn something new. I've never been disappointed with the outcome of a project that they've participated in. I look forward to a continued partnership.

My son attended the SPREE camp this summer at the downtown (Cherry Creek) location. He had a wonderful time and was so excited to see the instructors each morning. Unlike the camps he was in during past summers, this year I never had to face tears in the morning when dropping him off. Many kudos to the awesome SPREE instructors!

Great org! My son loved the camps, staff are kind energetic and lovely to work with Kids get in the water and look for critters, play fun games, and learn about nature. There is usually a field trip one day to a museum etc The cost is very reasonable and I appreciate the flexible drop off and pick up times which allow me to get a full day in at work or leave early and grab if my schedule allows I especially like the downtown location so I can stroll over to pick up from camp Adds a little calmness to my day of running around. All in all one of our favorite camps

My son has been going to the camps for a couple of years. He has a great time. He has learned so much and enjoys being outdoors during the warm months. It's convenient and a great place for our son to grow when he isn't at home or in school!
