Greener Side Haven is a FIVE STAR ORGANIZATION. I have known Julianne Jackson for several years. Every day she performs countless acts of generous, selfless love for so many abandoned animals. Every one of the Greener Side rescues receives the best of care in a loving, caring home environment. Every one of the Greener Side rescues is treated more like a cherished child rather than a sick, broken down throw away. Seeing how the love and care given to these animals transforms their lives is simply miraculous. The Greener Side rescues animals other organizations might turn away due the high cost of rehabilitation and care. Any animal lover would be proud to be affiliated with this incredible organization.
I worked for the founder for many years before pursuing other career paths. I can say that the staff are all top knotch, professional, caring individuals who give all to the welfare of the animals. The founder is one of the kindest persons that has ever walked this planet. Her entire existence is only for the care, love and benefit of the animals others have abused, Abandonded or simply been unable to care for. She and her staff do the best they can to bring a little bit of heaven to this world and the sunshine of love to the animals under their care and protection.
Older animals get a second chance at life to live out their days in a happy home like environment. Can’t say enough good things about this place!
Adopted Zombie, a Beautiful Pomeranian who needed a forever home. He chose us for this roll and we are happy to be there to give him all the love and attention he needs.

The Greener Side takes in the animals that nobody wants, the misfits, the old guys, and ones that cost an arm and a leg because they have serious health issues. They give these animals a place they can call home. Even if it's just a short time for some of the seniors. They receive top care and are treated like royalty!
Such a wonderful organization! This place provides homes for senior, sick and unwanted dogs. All the dogs of The Greener Side Haven are provided with top of the line care, food and love and never have to worry about going back to an animal shelter!
I have seen the photographs of the animals from this womans home and they speak for themselves. It takes lots of work, love and care to keep up these beautiful animals.

Great group of wonderful individuals that truly care about the horses and animals. All animals are very well cared for.
So many wonderful people who sacrifice their time and energy to make sure these babies receive medical care and all the love they can soak up. You quickly bond with all the sweet little, and big, souls there. Not only do the dogs benefit from your love but your heart benefits too. I would encourage everyone to stop by and volunteer sometime.

Julianne Jackson is one of the most kind hearted down to earth person I know. She loves these animals more than anything, her staff is excellent and they do a great job caring for these unloved, homeless animals that need shelter. By far one of the best organizations that I know of for this cause.
What an amazing thing The Greener Side Haven does for not only seniors but special needs and abused animals without Julianne they would have nowhere to go many would no longer be here, with Julianne they know it feels like to be safe, have all their medical needs taken care of and especially feel loved. Being a volunteer for Citrus county animal shelter I have dealt with Greenerside Haven many times. Julianne Jackson gives the unwanted sick and older dogs a beautiful cage free place to live their days out and a last forever home. They provide the best medical treatment possible and have wonderful volunteers who help take care of them.
This rescue does amazing work. They provide a sanctuary for senior animals, abused ones, and animals with special needs. Greener Side provides care for those pets that have been neglected, thrown away, or abandoned. This group is dedicated, selfless, compassionate, and devoted to these precious animals. They set a standard that we should all strive for! They have my deepest admiration and support!
The Greener Side Haven, Inc... where to start... I have volunteered with them for quite a few years. The founder, Julianne Jackson is truly an earth angel for these special animals. All of the animals receive nothing short of the best of the best. From specialized procedures to necessary daily care, medications, and extensive therapies, taking the unwanted, the unloved or given up on soles is Ms. Julianne's special place. She fights for them each and every day. I have personally seen them come to the Haven knocking on the door of death and come back to a special life filled with so much love, caring and joy. I have shared in the heartbreak and tears of loosing some and rejoiced in the successful procedures. Ms. Julianne is affected by each of their special lives and continues to take in and help as many as she possibly can. With a wonderful team of dedicated volunteers working at her side there is no doubt that this incredible Haven will bring un-measurable love, compassion and caring to many more lucky soles. If you have the means to donate please consider donating to The Greener Side Haven, Inc. , all donations are used for the animals and I know that it will be gratefully received. So much is needed to keep up the level of care that has become the cornerstone of this organization. I volunteered at the greener side haven this past winter. I was looking for a way to work with animals but without fostering. This was the perfect fit for me. Julianne and her staff of workers and volunteers are completely dedicated to the animals health and wellbeing. The greenerside haven is a wonderful forever home for senior or unwanted animals with health issues. I love what they do and fell in love with the animals too! I intend to volunteer again when I get back to florida. I keep up to date with them and try to donate my time or money or wishlist items. I really have to give Julianne kudos for all she does for these animals. Its a very challenging undertaking but she thinks they are all worth it!
Greener side haven is amazing. Its wonderful that Julliannes real life passion has always been the animals. Julliane is extremely hands on and takes her work seriously. Greener side haven has so many animals taken care of by volunteers and employees daily. The animals of multiple species are kept in clean living spaces with plenty of room, human interaction,medical on call and individual daily care to each animal. If you ever get an opportunity to volunteer or donate you won't regret it. The animals are truly happy in their forever home, which is what they deserve!
I have been an animal rescuer for years working with many organizations and in many roles. I have seen numerous people with great intentions but less success with actually carrying out the mission the proclaim. It us in this that I commend The Greener Side sanctuary, as they all work so hard to make sure the answer Nala in their care are not only well taken care if, but happy and feel loved. The don't make these animal's live in enclosures with little interaction. They give them an environment of homeiness that help them thrive. Everyone I met there clearly goes out of their way to make a difference in the lives of these furbabies no matter how long or short it will be, and no matter what challenges they present. The Founder is one of the best women I have had the privilege of meeting. This world is a better place because if her and her sanctuary.

The Greener Side Haven Inc. is an AMAZING last hope animal rescue sanctuary. All of the sweet creatures fortunate enough to be picked to come here are spoiled and loved for the rest of their lives. This place is magical and huge! There are dogs, cats, farm animals, birds etc. All of them have a place here. I myself have been here numerous times doing dog transports to their facility. I have brought them two large breed senior dogs and a young adult pitbull diagnosed with an aggressive case of lymphoma. The Greener Side Haven Inc. took him in even though they knew that he had just a couple months left to live. They loved him so much. All of the donations to this non profit go towards the life time care of the animals at the sanctuary. And boy do they need the donations. Most of the animals that this sanctuary takes in are seniors and special needs animals. Everyone says that Disney World is the happiest place on Earth but I would beg to differ. I think the Greener Side Haven Inc. is the happiest place on Earth. So much joy and love radiates from this sanctuary. It was a blessing being invited to come visit it and bring a few shelter dogs to safety there. Absolutely beautiful. Attached to this review is a freedom picture of one of the dogs I pulled from the shelter where he was at risk. This is just one of many dogs that was saved by the Greener Side Haven Inc.
I had the honor of working with the wonderful people and their fur family at the Greener Side Haven for about 6 months, late 2016/early 2017. I've never had a more enjoyable and educational work environment. The Family that is the Greener Side Haven spends every second of everyday, 24/7 devoting their live's caring for, and catering to ALL of the animals and their special needs. I couldn't imagine a more wonderful place for such special canines to live at their golden years!
They take the old, the injured, ill, disabled and discarded, and give them a happy, safe, loving, comfortable home.
What a blessing they are to these animals.

I volunteer at Greener Side and I love it there. All the volunteers there are very nice. The animals love everyone that comes into contact with them. Mrs. Julienne is a very kind and caring women to help out these animals in need.
What a beautiful place. The staff is wonderful with the animals. They show them love and affection as if they were their own. They keep the facility clean and organized. It's amazing how much love u feel when u walk in. Happy wagging tails, give me some love too. Getting to be around the animals is a great feeling. Can't say enough about The Greener Side Haven . Julianne is a true caring and loving person who treats all of her animals like they are her family . She spares no expense on all of her animals including very expensive veterinarian care when most people would put their pets to sleep . Her drive is unbelievable to keep her animals in great condition providing 24 hour care to all of them . And her volunteers truly treat all of the animals like they are their own . If you or anyone you know is available for some volunteering this is the place you want to do it .
I was fortunate to be able to work an event with Julianne. She is the most generous, loving person I've ever met!!! There are no words to describe the love she has for all of her "pets". I am so proud to be able to say that I know her. I don't know how she does it but all of the animals at her forever home and so lovingly taken care of. She is truly an Angel sent from Heaven. I have worked with other nonprofits who are great; however, none left me feeling so much appreciation and adoration as working with The Greener Side Haven last year, educating people and collecting donations. If I ever win Powerball, The Greener Side Haven is getting atleast half of my winnings for the wonderful things Julianne does for these unwanted animals. God Bless her!
Truly one of the most outstanding organizations you will ever find and run by people who dedicate not only their time but their heart and souls to each animal that resides there. The resident critters live in a loving, clean, home environment which contributes to both their physical and mental well-being allowing them to live out their days peacefully.

The Greener Side gives hope to the old and sick animals that no one else want to bother with. Without the Greener Side, untold numbers of animals would die needlessly. The cost of these rescues is not cheap and one more reason why the Greener Side is so valuable.
This place is amazing all of the animals recieve so much love compassion and don't forget play time! Everyone does so much to keep this place up while exceeding standards.it is truly heaven for these babies
I visited Greener Side looking for a place to volunteer. I looked no further. The staff genuinely cares about the animals and is reflected in the attitudes of the animals. I can think of no better place to spend some of my time and to share my love for animals.
The Greener Side Haven could really be called the Greener Side HEAVEN, because that's what it is to these rescued animals. Julianne takes in dogs with health issues that others wouldn't even consider--dogs who have cancer or are paralyzed--and she treats each dog as if it is the only dog she owns. They are loved, well-fed, groomed, vetted--all in a loving, wonderful environment. I've never known anyone to sacrifice so much of their own time, energy, heart and finances to helping animals as Julianne does. The Greener Side Haven is so deserving of a top rating!
I had the privilege of visiting The Greener Side yesterday. The obvious love & care given to the animals is wonderful to see. Julianne knows all the names & history of each one. Has an obvious bond with them & all creature comforts are provided ~ & beyond! While I'd heard good things about Julianne & The Greener Side seeing it in person was still eye opening.
It takes a special person to turn their home into a sanctuary but Julianne has managed it. The animals are well groomed, happy & all their needs met. I'm in awe! It can't be easy, certainly is an act of love. Kudos to Julianne & her helpers for such a wonderful loving environment for these once abandoned & neglected animals.
Julianne and the crew at The Greener Side Haven do a superb job taking care of the animals there. They stop at nothing to make sure they have the best daily care as well as medical care. Julianne has dedicated her life to helping animals and has a special heart for those that others have given up on.
The first time I met Julianne and heard about the number of wonderful and needy animals that had been saved and cared for, I was amazed! This lady has not only dedicated her home to saving these furry little ones but, really, her life too. Julianne freely gives her time, money, and constant attention to the health and individual welfare of these otherwise castaway pets. It makes a heart glad to know someone like her.
Today I had the honor of transporting a senior Dane from Pasco Animal Services to The Greener Side Haven. Julieanne and her staff are amazing animal lovers! They let Beatrix now known as Tricksie wander around outside and get acclimated. They had a separate room so that she can decompress and get used to her new home before meeting all her new brothers and sisters. They also had a vet appointment for her already set for the afternoon. I cannot say enough good things about them. Their home is clean and the animals are very well cared for! I am so lucky to have come across them...I know that Tricksie will be loved forever. I can't wait to go back and visit!
What Julianne does for animals can not be described by any thing other than pure love. She is the epitome of putting your money where your mouth is. There are many small ways to help animals but she chose to take in the ones that almost certainly would not make it out of the shelter or the situation they were in alive without her intervention. She truly devotes her life to animals.
Julianne and I became acquainted about a year ago. In this short time, I have been amazed by her absolute dedication to the many animals she has brought into her home. Providing them with not only unconditional love, but meeting all their medical needs without hesitation. I would say, that this home clearly belongs to all of her charges and she gets room and board for caring for them. Julianne is a true champion for animals that have been abused, neglected or dumped off at shelters when their owners didn't want to pay for medical needs of their pets. Her compassion has no boundaries! I am proud to be able to participate however small, in her mission in life!!
I met Julianne when she lived near Chicago and only had about 12 or 13 rescues. I was lucky enough to visit her and her "gang" this past November and loved it. I am massage therapist and energy healing practitioner and have worked with animals often. It's easy to spot a well taken care of and loved animal and all of them I met that day meet that description. I am so impressed with the home Julianne has made for all the animals in her care. The birds and dogs have an actual home, not a kennel and they get one on one attention and love. The horses and cats have a beautiful barn (my cat would be in heaven there) and it was fun to meet and interact with my first miniature horse. The staff and volunteers all welcomed me with warmth but it was clear their focus was the animals and you could feel their love for their charges as they talked to me about them. The Greener Side Haven is just that...a haven. It's my honor to call Julianne my friend. These animals couldn't have a better advocate for them. I wished I lived closer so I could be a physical part of this amazing sanctuary.
This is my home and the animals are my family. I have been rescuing for 32 years, but am new to being a nonprofit. Each animal is taken care of in every way possible; medical, emotional, training, exercise and love. We specialize in seniors, handicapped, deaf/blind and unwanted. Someone is here 24 hours a day 365 days a year (usually me). This is not a job, this is a passion. I welcome those with a similar passion to come volunteer, share experiences, laugh and cry; to become an extended part of our family.
This is the most awesome rescue I have ever been affiliated with! Every aspect of the animals welfare is addressed. Health and happiness are #1. Socialization, training, special needs addressed. Cleanest place I have ever seen. I cant say enough about Greener Side Haven. This is how it should be. Makes me proud to be part of this herd.
