Mission: The Giving Hand's mission is to help veterans, abused women with children, the homeless, underserved minorities and youths, low-income families and seniors succeed mentally, emotionally, physically and financially. Heal by equipping those in our communities with the medical, educational, and financial resources necessary to achieve greater self-identity, economic stability, personal accountability, academic excellence, community involvement, social equality and balanced living. To restore those in need by providing housing, rehabilitation centers, job opportunities, scholarships, nutritional resources, educational counseling and outreach programs for the mentally ill.
Results: The Giving Hand has provided housing for thousands of homeless families, mothers, fathers, children, veterans and displaced youths. This organization has successfully serviced thousands of Americans in more than 30 different communities throughout California with healthy food. We advocate for educational equality by providing minority groups with scholarships to excel, despite the economic divide between themselves and the cost of schooling.
