My 14-year old daughter and I recently completed a week-long medical mission in remote mountain villages in Honduras with the Friends of Barnabas Foundation. They have been managing these trips for more then 10 years and currently schedule eleven of them per year - all in remote locations in western Honduras. The need is great, and FOBF is not only helping with free clinics, but also with education for sustaining long term improved health to the people living there.
We witnessed and participated in providing effective assistance to thankful villagers from a well run organization - both the local team in-country, as well as the support office back here in the U.S. Everyone else with whom I have spoken agrees with that assessment.
