Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development Programs
Mission: To promote healthy communities by implementing youth activities, projects and programs which encourage and support STEM, technology, renewable energy, training, education and health.

Programs: Fun and engaging projects and events that promote technology, education and health. Our initiatives help youth in our community by encouraging personal development, enrichment and skill/career skill development necessary to succeed in school, in life and hope for a better future. There are opportunities for individuals, families and children as young as age 5 to volunteer, lead projects, provide hands-on support and help other children and families in need. A few of EPIC Kids projects/initiatives: • EPIC Gardens is seasonal community garden project which offers hands-on education for local kids and teaches them about healthy eating, and growing food ground to table. A portion of the vegetables harvested in the garden is donated to local • During the holiday season we have gift wrapping events where we raise funds in partnership with Barnes and Noble to provide holiday packages for local Atlanta children in foster care, emergency shelters and youth homes. • Youth Dress for Success (seasonal) Clothes Drive to create clothes closets for kids in foster care, emergency shelters and youth homes. • "EPIC Ponics" STEM (after school) enrichment program-centered around developing an aquaponics gardening system and educating youth on the technology used, health benefits and environmental impacts. This program also helps to spark curiosity in science, technology, engineering and math and inspires youth (specifically girls and minorities who may not have previous exposure to engineering skillset) to pursue engineering as a career path. Produce benefits children in local schools and facilities serving underprivileged youth. • Project "EPIC Holiday"-our organization collects items and donations for holiday care packages. We will assemble, wrap and distribute packages to young people in local children's homes, foster care (or have just aged out) and shelters who don't have family to share the holidays with this year as well as families with sick children in hospitals over the holidays.
