I am thrilled and moved by the work the Dillon Henry Foundation has done and is doing, from building a school in the Congo to working with the Surfrider organization to the scholarships they provide for needy students at Pali High where their son, Dillon and been a student and more. Their work is so far-reaching and consistently positive. I am in awe.
The DHF has had a great impact on such a wide variety of initiatives whether it be education, health, the environment, etc. The foundation is dedicated to making meaningful, ethical change, and empowering organizations to be more sustainable.
The Dillon Henry Foundation supports a diverse portfolio of wonderful initiatives, ranging from education scholarships in Los Angeles, training and supporting journalists in the middle east, and assisting street children in East Africa. The Dillon Henry Foundation spends its funding responsibly in order to make the greatest impact to it's beneficiaries.
This foundation has truly honored Dillon's memory. They have so many wonderful causes and have reached far an beyond the number of people they have helped.
Ten years and counting, this organization is doing great work around the globe with very personal, highly focused projects.
The Dillon Henry Foundation has continually grown and been able to impact people’s lives all over the world. Their vision is making a change in the world one good act at a time. From giving scholarships to students in Los Angeles to their recent development of a school in the Congo. The school is absolutely incredible and will allow so many children the opportunity to get off the streets and learn to fight for their future!! The opportunities are endless. Dillon would be very proud.
Dillonslist is a wonderful organization in memory of a young man whose dream was to change the world one step at a time. Sadly he was taken too young but this organization was built to keep his dreams alive. His love of surfing and being in nature is why Dillonslist works with Surf Rider foundation to keep our beaches clean and the oceans healthy. He was also dedicated to volunteering with children and motivating them to be the best they can be, this is kept alive by events with CASA, Jewish World Watch and Palisades Charter High School. Donations have all gone to causes that are changing the world and making people live better lives.
I’ve been involved with this board for a number of years, and I’ve donated to its work. Year in and year out the DHF strives to make this world a more just place. It tirelesslyfocuses on helping young people receive an education, particularly young people from traditionally marginalized communities. I know that when I donate to DHF, those contributions go directly to the projects I intended. Thank you, DHF, for all that you do to level the playing field for those seeking an education!
This is an outstanding organization that does so much to inspire service and support for education, human rights, and the environment. I've been involved for 7 years, and the organization is just fantastic and professional in what it does.
The Dillon Henry Foundation is filled with heart. For eleven years the foundation has searched for meaningful ways to help people in need and the environment. The Congo Peace School highlights the type of work the foundation has worked toward.
The Dillon Henry Foundation is such a phenomenal non-profit that’s doing work that is very much needed in our world today. I was a recipient of the Dillon Henry Foundation Scholarship and through that I have gotten to know Dillon’s wonderful family and friends and I feel that they are truly going above and beyond to keep his legacy alive through all of their efforts.
Awesome work. A daunting fete to get a school going half-way around the world. Congratulations on the good work you are doing, and I'd love to be a part of some day. What a wonder legacy of the foundation in memory of Dillon
A non profit that prides itself on hands on engagement in children, education and the environment. Currently, opening a school in the Congo that takes kids off the street and into school. 480 children who can be leaders for non violence, gender equality and peace.
As a Board Member of the Dillon Henry Foundation, I can say that every project that is done is impactful and serves the needs of many. WE have focused on several main areas and made a difference in the environment, in providing college bound students with scholarships, with foster youth in Los Angeles, and our reach even extends to serving victims of genocide in Africa. The heart of the organization comes from DIllon Henry, an amazing young man, whose life was cut tragically short. It is with his passions and spirit in mind that we spread his name and goodness to help others. We carry on his dream to make our world provide more opportunities to others so their lives will be improved and their futures brighter. We also will look at new ideas and consider funding proposals that are in keeping with our mission statement and goals.
The Dillion Henry Foundation is a wonderful nonprofit that honors the incredible memory of a life lost too early, and preserves the impact Dillion Henry would have had on the world. The projects that DHF fund and support are those that support those in need and the undeserved. This organization is a blessing to the world.
The Dillon Henry Foundation is a phenomenal nonprofit that helps students achieve their academic dreams by providing generous scholarships. They expand all the way to the Congo in Africa, where they are raising money to build a school. They are dedicated to making the world a better place.
A wonderful group of family and friends doing great work in their community and around the world, supporting many students' college dreams with financial assistance and personal support, truly making a difference for many first-generation college-bound!
The Dillon Henry Foundation is such an amazing and inspiring organization. Their commitment to helping young people worldwide lets you know they are dedicated to giving so much back to our community. Every year, the DHF offers tens of thousands of dollars worth of college scholarships to support young people seeking an education. They are also dedicated to building resources through the Congo in Africa. It is a wonderful organization to honor a beautiful life taken too soon by spreading love and light around the world.
Thanks to the Dillon Henry Foundation, I was able to afford attending college. Their generosity with a scholarship and genuine care for my success make this organization very special. The staff and members of this organization make it an incredible community that does important work in our community and abroad.
They are truly amazing. They not only give you the opportunity to keep studying by offering you a scholarship but they also inform you about other opportunities out there such as volunteering, internships and other scholarships. They are easy to talk to and they are always available if you need anything.
The DHF provided me a scholarship that aided me in financing some of the costs associated with my first year at the University of California, Berkeley. They have been very active in the local community surrounding Palisades Charter High School and work towards promoting access to education, even on a global front.
I grew up in a non traditional family and my parents were separated. The foundation helped me to afford college and gave me the mentorship to pursue my goals. I lacked the self confidence to do well, nobody had ever gave me such support and my life became much better because of it.
The Dillon Henry Foundation is a tight knit family of scholars. With their generosity, I am able to pursue what I love doing most in college. I have made lifelong friends and have experienced true camaderie during foundation events. The Dillon Henry Foundation has truly changed my life with their dedication to support and inspiration.
