As a hospice nurse and social worker as well as philanthropist, I am acutely aware of both the quality of programmatic delivery of dreams as well as the fiscal responsibility of the organization. Dream Foundation consistently excels in both areas. I am a wholeheartedly devoted contributor to the Dream Foundation for their quality program delivery, acute fiscal responsibility, all while maintaining true to their mission.

I would like to thank the Dream Foundation for what they do! In memory of my loving mother I write with much gratitude and appreciation for helping fulfill her last dream! She was so excited when you accepted her as a Dream recipient and it literally kept her going until her dream was fulfilled. Our mother finally was able to let go of her fight 12 days after returning from her dream vacation to the ocean! She was so at peace upon her return that it allowed her to move on to her next journey in heaven! On behalf of myself and my whole family in which you blessed with this one last dream wish... we THANK YOU! Much love, Lenke Egersdorfer Carson

As a longtime donor to the dream foundation, I know they do great work and a high percentage of cash donations go to programs and not overhead. Just read some of the stories of people and families they have helped. From helping families with a terminally ill adult, or to visiting shut-ins with donated flowers, they bring joy to people in need.

I'm sorry that another reviewer is upset that a celebrity they don't like donated items to be auctioned by the charity, but that is no reason to give them 1 star. Please visit their website, review their annual report, or talk to people they have touched before making your own decision. But I have supported them for over 12 years and highly recommend them.

I was so disgusted when I heard that Kim Kartrashian was going to donate her wedding gifts to the Dream Foundation. What are adults with "life" threatening illnesses going to do with custom monogram items from this "scam"? Why do you folks want "dirty money"? Your foundation was rated highly among charities (via charity navigator), but if you accept their dirty money and gifts, that will prove that you are not a reputable charity and I will tell everyone I know not to contribute to your charity and I will post it on my blogs about your firm (The Dream Foundation) accepting this "Kardtrashin" trash. I know as a charity, there are not a lot of people contributing to helping others and basically you will accept ANYTHING, but to accept this trash is horrible.

Dream Foundation is the only nonprofit agency that fulfills the final wishes of adults battling progressive and irreversible illness. This is an unduplicated service. 86% of every dollar donated goes directly toward dream fulfillment for an adult facing the end of life. Recently rated a four star charity by charity navigator. I donate here because i know my contribution is making a difference.
