"Donna", who has participated in the Earn While You Learn Program for the past two years, announced she is moving out of the area. The Crossing received the news with sadness but also shared how proud they are of her progress. She said she will miss the staff and volunteers but her tone of voice was optimistic. Donna shared what an important role The Crossing has played in getting her life back on track. “When I first came”, she said, “I had no structure for my children or spent time playing with them” She noted how much fun she has now with them and how all her relationships have improved. “I feel confident making decisions and feel good about my life. That isn’t something I could say before.”
Donna's children will grow up having a mom who is present, joyful, confident and much more.
