The City Mission has served all ages in the greater Cleveland for over 100 years, and we are so grateful they're here! I love that they think about how to serve each group individually, treat everyone with dignity, and teach life skills that will help everyone "fish for a lifetime". Love, love, love The City Mission!

I interned with The City Mission several years ago and have kept in touch ever since. They've always stood out in vision, fiscal responsibility, adaptation, and commitment to loving hurting populations as Christ commands. It's impressive that they take no government funding, and work toward holistic, lasting transformation in the lives of individuals. The staff is kind and caring, and their internship and volunteer programs are relevant and meaningful. Thank you, The City Mission, for all you do! Without The City Mission, my life would be very different, and I know that's the same for thousands of other individuals in Cleveland.

Dear Respected Donor, We are grateful for feedback such as this, because it allows us the opportunity to speak truth about decisions being made within the Mission. I hope you have the opportunity to see this comment and consider what you've heard in light of new information. The Banfield building is closing in December because it is in need of serious repairs. We treat our clients with dignity, and cannot allow them to stay in a building that is unsafe. A letter was sent to every man currently residing in the building informing them of the situation. In the letter we offer continued case management as they search for affordable housing and jobs. They will also have continued access to the resource center, which includes computers, printers, and Internet. For those who are unable to find adequate housing we're allowing an extension of stay in our Crossroads Men's Crisis Center. Several men who reside in Banfield and received the letter have already met with our caseworkers. We have multiple affordable housing recommendations to share with those who are willing to meet, and will do everything in our power to ensure their transition is smooth. Our mission to reach hearts and change lives for Jesus Christ leaves no room for thoughtless decisions. We hope you can see that we are doing our best to do right by our current and former clients, and that you'll reconsider your decision to retract your support for us. If you have further questions you can send us a message on Facebook, or speak directly with our COO, Linda Uveges. In Christ, The City Mission

The City Mission is a bright light at the end of a very dark tunnel for challenged men and vulnerable women. They do Gods work and deserve our respect and admiration for always putting the needs of others before themselves. I am so proud that The City Mission is an institution in Cleveland.
