What a blessing The Buggy Bunch is!! Having a baby and raising a family can be the most exciting and the most overwhelming life changing experience we ever face. What this organization offers is priceless!!! Not only is it a place where new moms and their families can connect with their peers who are going through the same things they are, they also have an opportunity to receive encouragement, mentoring and support by more mature women who have 'been there, done that'. Not to mention, I am delighted to see so many of my sisters in Christ reaching out into the community and giving back by using their God given gifts and talents to mentor these new families while also sharing the love and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thanks to Kelly and ALL of you who volunteer to make this available to our community! May God bless you abundantly!

I have been looking for a group to connect some of our Indian River foster families with and was drawn to the Buggy Bunch . When I researched and discovered the amazing support programs and resources they offered I knew it would be a warm and welcoming environment for our families . Many of our families are in need of encouragement, connection and community. The Buggy Bunch is just that. I am excited to see our families build a relationship with the group. For our foster children I know it will be a place of acceptance , love understanding and hope. For our moms , it is a place to build her tribe.

Being part of child welfare , I believe that organizations like them are vital to hurting families. It's about prevention. When young girls and mothers have access to resources and support they are more likely to thrive.

I look forward to seeing The Buggy Bunch grow and reach those in need in their community.

Valentine's Day dinner with teen moms in Indian River County may not sound to some like the ideal way to spend your holiday, but it was a wonderful experience that I will never forget. The Buggy Bunch held a special dinner for teen moms on Valentine's Day this year. It was the first teen moms event that I was able to attend. Just being around these young moms was so inspirational, because they are committed to doing the best that they can for their babies and still making sure that they are taking care of themselves, too. I love that The Buggy Bunch has a heart for ALL moms, regardless of their economic status, ethnicity, religious background, etc. They meet moms where they ARE. If you ever want to get involved with an organization who loves moms and families, this is it. You heart will be filled with happiness when you see a mom in need being helped. I know mine was!

I found The Buggy Bunch when my son was 6 weeks old and my daughter was 18 months old. I was new to being a stay at home mom and had no idea how isolated I would feel staying at home with two little ones especially since I didn't have any friends with children that were my kid's ages. I started coming to events like walking group and playgroup. The ladies I met at The Buggy Bunch were friendly and welcoming and really made me feel like I was part of the group! The friendships I have made through The Buggy Bunch are priceless. These girls have have been there for me and supported me in so many ways! They have brought me meals and checked on me when I was sick or had a house full of sick kiddos. They have been there to listen to me through bad days and laugh with me on good days. During a rough time in my marriage The Buggy Bunch ladies were there to support me, talk to me and remind me that we would get through this! The encouragement and support that I have received through the ladies of The Buggy Bunch has caused growth in every area of my life. I am so thankful for The Buggy Bunch!

Even though I am not a mom, The Buggy Bunch has been such a huge blessing to me in the past year. Last year, I started attending a Buggy Bunch Bible study about the Armor of God that completely changed my walk with God and deepened my faith with Him. It was so encouraging to get together with ladies in my community and talk about God and what He has been doing in our lives. I loved how everyone was so accepting and diverse. In the group, there were grandmothers, young moms, empty nesters, etc. Ladies of all different backgrounds, ages, and stages in life were able to come together to learn about Christ through the study and through each other. Not only did the actual Bible study material encourage my faith, but more so the ladies in the study pushed me to grown in my faith. I look forward to how this organization will continue to touch the lives of families in my community.

When I left teaching to stay home after the birth of my second child, I didn’t know how profoundly lonely child-rearing can be. I went from interacting with over 150 people per day to barely having adult conversation until 5 p.m. With the support of The Buggy Bunch, that loneliness evaporated. I found women who were also new to being home struggling with the very same humdrum, yet frustrating, details of day-to-day childcare. These daily details were small before I became a mom, but they were the fabric of my world once my kids came along. The women of The Buggy Bunch understood that.

But it's not all about being with other moms. WIth activities like the Amazing Date and Family Camping Trips, my husband gets involved, too. We get one-on-one time, which strengthens our marriage, and the camping trips show him how other Christian men can get together and have fun without the pressure of church.

The Buggy Bunch really fills a gap that churches are simply not equipped to. They focus on building relationships by offering a wide variety of programs so moms can choose what interests them. Then women who maybe aren't connected with a church or aren't quite sure what it means to be a Christian see real Christian women doing "normal" activities: playing at the park, working out, chatting about the terrible twos. Non-Christians can see how Christians reframe their struggles in the light of their relationship with Jesus. Sometimes you just have to watch someone else love something so you can learn how to love it, too. The Buggy Bunch facilitates this.

I love the Buggy Bunch!! I have seen the impact this organization has on so many moms in our community firsthand. Through the connections made during Biblestudies, playgroups, and so many of the other family events, moms have received physical aid, including transportation, housing, jobs, and childcare. Moms have received wise spiritual counsel leading to better parenting and healthier marriages. Buggy Bunch moms have been there for me personally, helping me to be a better parent and spouse, bringing meals to my family, and providing a network of friends who encourage me. I am so grateful for their work in Vero Beach!

The Buggy Bunch changes lives. I have seen this first hand with our Talented Tots group. Once a month, we have a program for moms and their children. A lot of these moms don't go to church. The goal of the Buggy Bunch is to reach ALL moms. We ultimately want to see these women come into a relationship with Jesus Christ. The amazing thing about the Buggy Bunch is these women come to events such as Talented Tots. Regardless if they go to church or not, they want their children to be able to interact with other kids and they want mommy time as well.
The amazing thing about the Buggy Bunch is that it builds beautiful friendships between kids but also the moms develop relationships as well. This is so exciting to me because this is what Jesus did. He built friendships. He loved ALL people. And in turn those people found a Savior that loves them enough to die for them. This is what we do at the Buggy Bunch. We ultimately point people to Jesus. What a wonderful ministry!

I love the Bible studies The Buggy Bunch provides on a weekly basis. The diverse group of women coming together to learn more about Jesus & glean from one another each week is incredible. I've watched women & their families grow in the Lord, while strengthening their family bond over several years. It is a beautiful sight to see.

Back in 2009, The Buggy Bunch (TBB) was just beginning, and I was a brand new mom. My time with TBB began with the simple act of taking a walk with other moms. Since then, I have enjoyed playgroups, fitness groups, Bible studies, family picnics, and more. I have watched TBB evolve into a professional nonprofit organization run by and for moms. The group is not only providing much need social outlets for moms and their children, but strengthening their spirituality and in many cases meeting basic needs.

I am a teen mom. My daughter just turned one. Being a young mom is hard. I feel unwanted, lonely, and on most days very scared. I learned about The Buggy Bunch last fall from a friend. I started attending the Teen Moms' Support Group and have found a place where I know I am accepted and loved. The older moms in the ministry have been there for me during very tough times. The Buggy Bunch has even helped me to connect with older moms who also had babies in high school. It has been encouraging to see them as adults thriving in their role. I know that because of The Buggy Bunch I am becoming a better mother and I am more confident to try to achieve for me and my daughter. If it wasn't for this ministry I would be lost and lonely. I love The Buggy Bunch!

I love The Buggy Bunch because it meets all kinds of women in the loneliness of motherhood. Even if motherhood was your dream job, like it was for me, it is an isolating profession. I love how The Buggy Bunch offers exercise classes, Mommy and Me groups, play dates and other classes that ANY mom would be interested in trying. The personality of the organization is open and friendly-every activity is like walking into a group of old friends. I feel like once someone comes in and is welcomed and included, they want to return the favor and bring others in too. (As opposed to that terrible feeling of walking in to a room, seeing a lot of people talking and being totally ignored-that doesn't happen here) I have met women that I otherwise never would have had a chance to meet. I have had the privilege of mentoring some amazing young moms that have inspired and motivated me to live up to a higher standard, because when someone is watching and trying to learn from you because you've been where they are, you want to be a good example! Most recently I was in a Bible study and a teen mom was sharing that her biological dad was in town and wanted to meet her for the 1st time. She was so nervous and wasn't sure what she should do. Another mom in her late 30s got to encourage her because she had been in her exact shoes when she was 18! It was beautiful to watch this sweet young woman cry, realizing that she wasn't as alone as she had thought. That sums up The Buggy Bunch for me-so often we feel like we're the only one that feel the emotions and pain that we do. But when these women get together we realize we are NOT alone and that feels amazing! When you figure that out, you know better how to support each other, and we all do support each other. Whether it's a phone call, text or facebook message to check on or encourage someone who shared about a struggle, or dropping off or receiving a meal after a baby has been born, once you are a part of this organization, you are NOT alone! If you are a mom looking for strong connections and support, this group is for you.

I love The Buggy Bunch because of the connections I have made with more experienced moms who have been a true source of encouragement me to me in my journey as a wife and a mother.

During a very difficult season, friends I met through The Buggy Bunch became a lifeline to me. I had known of other groups who solely focused on moms of babies and preschoolers, but after my children were all in school I found myself wishing I had a group to belong to where I could connect and grow.

Then, a friend shared with me about The Buggy Bunch and I met a few of the other moms and immediately felt accepted and loved. For me, I needed hope for a difficult marriage, and found women who had been on the same journey but had come out on the other side. I felt very safe to be honest and real and I found hope in knowing Jesus is with me no matter what I face. I’m so grateful for the relationships I have made through The Buggy Bunch.

I learned about The Buggy Bunch through a couple of young ladies at my church who were helped by the group tremendously, both in spiritual and in practical ways. I then became involved with one of the Bible studies as a mentor, and I am presently on the board of TBB. Through my involvement in the activities of the group, particularly my interactions with the moms at Bible studies, I have been impressed with the vision and passion of this very supportive group. All moms are made welcome. They are loved and prayed for. They can find practical help when it is needed. I have heard moms share these messages: "The Bible study helped to save my marriage." " The more I learn about God, the more I want to learn about him." "I prayed about my relationship with my mom, and it is now better than I could ever have hoped." Even the more shy moms continue to show up for Bible studies and events because they feel safe and accepted, and because they are sharing common experiences together as they grow closer to God. They come from all backgrounds, but they feel like an important part of the group as they offer each other fellowship, insights, meals when needed, hand-me-downs for their children, and encouragement during hard times, all coming from a Biblical foundation. I don't know of any other group that provides this type of context for moms, and I am happy to support TBB with my time, energy, and finances.
