I volunteer with this nonprofit by helping fill bags with their Brooke's Kindness Bags program as well as with their annual swim-a-thon. This nonprofit loves the children of our community whether it's providing the bags, hosting the swim-a-thon or giving books to the local little libraries.
This nonprofit was created to honor Brooke - a beautiful girl who left us much too soon. The behind the scenes work that goes into the annual Swim-a-Thon is simply amazing. Each year the proceeds from the Swim-a-Thon go to a different local charity. This year all proceeds go to Angel’s Place. I enjoy volunteering with this foundation and will do so for many years to come.
This nonprofit is awesome! They choose a different charity every year to give to. They encourage kindness while supporting a good cause, all in memory of a wonderful child that was taken much too soon.
While only a few years old, this non-profit is making a difference in the New Orleans area though fundraising to support other local non-profits that support children! Being one of the lead volunteers in one of their main fundraisers, the Brooke E. Posey Swim-a-Thon, has been a pleasure. This is a great event and where this non-profit began!
Love seeing all the great things this Foundation does for the community in Brooke's memory. Always spreading kindness in some way and raising money for wonderful causes.
Every year their Brooke E. Posey Swim-a-Thon continues to grow and raise awareness for some great local charities in the New Orleans area. This year, the 4th annual, they went virtual due to covid and it was a success. They raised over $12,000 for the local Ronald McDonald House! We cannot wait to see how they raise the bar for next years event!
The Brooke Erin Posey Foundation truly embraced the chance to pivot with their Swim For Brooke Swim-a-Thon. I loved how they found creative ways for children and adults to participate from afar and raise money for a children's charity. It was fun and I can't wait to participate in next year's event.
