Mission: The bridge ministry's mission is to transform the lives of incarcerated and troubled men and their families through the gospel of jesus christ. The bridge ministry will provide newly released men with mentoring, teachable skills, and relationships that will help them to "bridge" the gap from prison life to a productive life with their families in their former communities. Specifically, the bridge ministry will help men to overcome substance abuse through life in christ, minister to the men's families, prepare them for active church and community involvement, and to unite churches in central virginia to help in our mission.
Programs: The organization not only provides onsite living quarters for former inmates and troubled men, but also a facility to teach employment skills and responsibilities. The ministry supports them financially with food, clothing, and stipends while ministering christian bible studies to help them reenter society.
