Causes: Boys & Girls Clubs, Children & Youth
Mission: To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
Programs: Providing quality programming after the school day has ended and all during the summer. Providing a compelling alternative to drugs, crime, and gang involvement. Structured programs are provided in the following core areas:character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, arts and culture enrichment, and sports, fitness, and recreation. Serving more than 1,200 children 5-18 years of age in leon and gadsden counties.
the bgcbb organization, entered into an agreement, effective march 2014, with leon county schools to provide after school and summer program services at the following school sites: godby high school, nims middle school, riley elementary school, bond elementary school, oak ridge elementary school.
