The BVHS is an amazing organization. They give service to a population that is often neglected and they do this with such passion and dedication. They worked with the youth charity I represent and I can say they are focused and dedicated. We have a great working relationship and I wish them all the best! Keep up the good work!
The BV&HS has certainly become the haven for the homeless in Barbados.
Their team of volunteers, as well as its leader continue to demonstrate remarkable care and delivery to those who need it most.
Their model is one which should be replicated across the Caribbean (and arguably the world).
I began volunteering with the BVHS while the charity was in its early years. This beautiful experience taught me important lessons which still resonate with me. The Chairman, Mr. Kemar Saffrey, is to be commended for his hard work, his passion and dedication. The staff is to be praised for their professionalism and commitment. I'm look on with pride when I see where the charity is today and I know it can only get better with the necessary support.
This charity is one I hold high respect for in Barbados, you can constantly hear and also see the BVHS, feeding the homeless, they help them keep healthy and clean, clothing them, they help them sleep well at night it is very heart warming to see and they deserve it, not everyone is as fortunate as other and as spiritual being we all should help each other and radiate love. Salute to the BVHS.
A charity that helps one and all. Reaching out to the lest helping in every way, the charity conduct day to day breakfast. We at the Barbados Vagrant and Homeless Society want to show everyone in Barbados and the world that the sun shine upon us all no matter how rich or poor we are.
This charity is a very good initiave as it have helped many persons by giving them a new start. I remember working at one of their events and it was very eye opening to the need for such a charity.
The Barbados Vagrants and Homeless Society is a charity that exemplifies one of the greatest examples of love and compassion. This charity helps those persons who are lost without a hope and makes the homeless feel appreciated. In addition it helps reintegrate persons back into the society.
Recently I started to volunteer with The Barbados Vagrants and Homeless Society. I joined because I saw a need to help those who are not as fortunate as me. I love that this organisation has been formulated because it hurts my heart when I see people on the street hungry and sleeping on the streets. Keep doing the good work
Currently I am volunteering at this charity and it is amazing how the staff put all of their time and effort into helping these people in their time of need. These needs are not only physical but emotional as well. Furthermore the staff are excellent at assisting the vagrants and homeless people with achieving their lives' goals. Honestly I believe that this charity is the best in Barbados.
This organisation is by far great which they reach out to those who are homeless no discrimination whatsoever. From my observation the staff seem to be very willing to help in whatever way they can.. The Barbados Vagrants & Homeless Society gives the homeless a second chance to a brand new transformation.
The Barbados Vagrants and Homeless Society is an exceptional organization. The staff and volunteers are friendly and dedicated to their work and show kindness to the clients.
Great and timely service. The President is efficient and very goal oriented putting the needs of others before his own...especially when it comes to his clients.
This organisation is by far the best when it comes to dealing with homelessness in Barbados. I was at their headquarters today which is located in the city, and there was a client who came in for help with her two children. The staff of the the Barbados Vagrants and Homeless Society quickly arranged for her to have a shelter to reside under. Not only a shelter, but also clothing, food and other necessities. This woman and her children are just a few of the many people this organisation gives a second chance to.
