I can't say enough good things about the artists' guild of Spartanburg. I'm just into my second year with this group of caring and hard working people and can't wait for what's to come. I've made countless connections through the group, sold several gallery pieces, had a solo show, several group shows, and soon to have a duo show all thanks to the guild. Membership has led to not just great friendships with fellow artists I never would have met but also sales and competition awards as well. I really feel like an active part of the arts community in Spartanburg, and that's in a large part thanks to joining the guild.

The Artists' Guild aims to support local artists by providing learning experiences, opportunities to share and to give back to the community, opportunities to show and sell their art.
We collaborate with other arts entities in the area with by-monthly pot luck dinners, and publicising each other's activities. We collaborate with the city for various activities, including putting art work in empty store fronts and providing feedback to suggestions and possible activities.
We send artists into the schools to teach and demonstrate, and are available to do programs and demonstruations for civic and private groups. We hold an annual Studio and Garden Tour to let te public see our work spaces and our art.

The Artists' Guild of Spartanburg offers members many chances to network, to learn about different forms of art, to exhibit amd sell art, to keep in touch with the arts community in South Carolina. It's the only organization in our area to actually work with local artists, to help them grow and promote their work.
