If anyone you know is seeking shelter because they are displaced by domestic violence DO NOT send them here. If they have Autism or are ANYWHERE on the spectrum or have ANY health concerns included dietary restrictions such as diabetes, hyper tension or are required to eat little or no refined sugar... again, they will be lucky to survive a single night. The food program in the morning included “food” that contains insane amounts of sugar & is not conducive to to getting up, out and motivated to change their life. Ms. Winters is apparently the only staff member who sees the residents as human and treats the with respect and dignity. The facility is amazing but the many of the residents were allowed to behave like inmates in a prison: aggressive, confrontational, intolerant and hateful. Jerry another employee forced a first day resident “outside to die” because all of the “food” provided contained ingredients he should not consume. The APD were called and he is now in ICU. Things will improve and things are changing. Updates to come.

I've been volunteering here with my North Davis Church of Christ bible class on 5th Mondays for nearly 2yrs. LOVE this place & all of the people here! Everyone is incredibly thankful, friendly & hardworking. We serve dinner & make 100 lunches, but there is so much more that is needed!

Arlington Life Shelter is an AMAZING organization. If it were not for their shelter my kids and I would have had to stay in our vehicle. When we arrived at ALL the staff were very kind and eager to assist our family. Through the help and guidance of the counselors my family was able to get into a housing program. We resided at the shelter for 4 months. The staff worked with our family and taught us so much about budgeting and family. AS will always be very special place for our family. It gave us hope and restored our faith!!
