Beware! Beware! Beware!
I adopted a cat from this shelter two weeks ago. The cat supposedly had a scratch on her eye and an allergic reaction to the cleaning solution the shelter is required to use. I was also told any vet care pertaining to these issues would be completely covered.
Upon our very first visit to the vet we were told the cat has herpes in its eye that cant be cured and a sever infection that will require daily medicine to clear up.
A week has now passed and the cat is not better. We are trying to take our cat back to the vet and the ark is refusing to pay the vet fee's.
They actually told me to give them the cat back or i will be hearing from their attorneys.
I have other animals that could have contracted herpes or the lung infection and this shelter does not care!!!! They are providing no solutions and no assistance.
Do not adopt an animal from here if you care about your family or home!!!
