Mission: The mission of the arc of delaware is to improve and enhance the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The arc fulfills its mission and meets the needs of our clients through an integrated approach to providing services. Arc programs are designed to combat social and economic inequalities and include: housing, employment, case management and outreach, advocacy, self-advocacy and social and recreational activities.
Programs: In 2014, the arc owned 81 group homes throughout the state that are home to 322 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
in 2014, the employment program helped 150 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities find jobs in the community, and then provided support and job coaching to ensure they could keep those jobs.
