Causes: Alliances & Advocacy, Arts & Culture, Health, Mental Health
Mission: The Positive Living Advocacy Network was founded with two primary goals - to make Community services easily accessible to people living on the streets and in poverty, and to make social advocacy and law reform efforts directly responsive to the daily struggles of those individuals. We have developed a unique model to achieve both these ends. We do outreach legal work in various communities, and then use what we learn from that work to fuel our broader advocacy efforts. All of our projects rely on this model, or make similar efforts to unite individual stories into a collective voice for social change. We share our resources and information with other agencies who, like us, have a commitment to finding innovative solutions to the problems of poor and vulnerable people.
