Texas Pawprints is outstanding. They look not just to place cats, but to find the best fit for both cats and families. They work with potential adopters to find the best fit before placing any pets. In the rare cases it doesn't work out, they aren't a bit judgmental. The volunteers work tirelessly, giving so much of their time and treasure. It is absolutely a labor of love.
A little neighborhood kitty was super weak and they didn't have money or space but they found a spot to try and help him.
I wanted to find a pair of kitties to fill my life and saw a pair on Petfinder that led me to Texas Pawprints. They made the application and pickup process super easy!! One of the kitties got sick before I picked them up and the foster was able to take care of her and handle her medicine until she was well enough to come home. I can’t thank them enough for taking care of and connecting me with my babies. They do such good work!!
Loved working with this nonprofit to adopt our two precious cats! They were quick to respond, kind, flexible, and patient. So grateful for this wonderful organization for giving us our babies:)
I was a volunteer and the care they take about the cats is very much appreciable. I even knew that some in this organization who always say YES when it comes to cats or kittens. Irrespective of their capacity, they strive to take the cats/kittens in and take good care of them then work towards getting them fostered/adopted.
I found a kitten but couldn’t take care of it and wanted some one to take the little one, a friend suggested about Texas paw prints, I reached Out to them and they instantly took in and kept me updated till the kitten got adopted.
We saw this beautiful black cat called Lucy with them when we were looking for a friend for our Maddie. We put in a request to meet her and were answered promptly. When we went to the adoption event at petsmart . The team was very helpful in telling us all about Lucy and helping us get comfortable with her and her quirks . They check up on her regularly which shows how much they care about the cats and to them an adoption is not forget about the cat since it’s adopted now . They genuinely care about the cats and the people .
We found two tiny one day old kittens in the yard. Texas paw prints was amazing! We met up with them at a local adoption event and they took the babies from there. They kept in communication with us and have helped every time we have any questions about other kitties in the area. I couldn’t recommend anyone more!
Texas Pawprints is a wonderful group that helped us with a bunch of feral cats that were living in an abandoned house next door. Very caring and professional.
They are a group that takes all cats, even those no one else wants. A mother and her kittens were abandoned at a women's shelter. They could not keep the cats, so they called another group. They came and got the mama cat and 3 of her kittens, leaving 2 because "there was something wrong with them." We came and got the last 2 kittens. I ended up fostering them as my first fosters. They were the sweetest cats ever who ended up having low vision. They were adopted together by a couple and are living a good life, all because this group took a chance on them when they were abandoned not once, but twice.
By far one of the best rescues I’ve dealt with on getting cats adopted out. These lady’s care so much about the cats they rescue. If your looking for a kitten/cat this is the place to get one.
I’ve known of Texas PawPrints for almost two decades. I have fostered cats and kittens with them. I know of no other nonprofit that’s more dedicated to its mission and the health and welfare of the cats and dogs so in need of care.
Texas PawPrints is a wonderful organization with tremendous and compassionate leadership.
My family set out to help the neighborhood cats about 20 years ago. When we found some animals that were adoptable, I went on petfinder.org and started making phone calls. Every place I called, I got a message saying to leave a message, and if they had room they would call back. None of them did. When I called pawprints, not only did Laniq answer the phone, she arranged to help me get the animals shots and fixed and helped me find them homes. We have volunteered with her ever since.
Texas Pawprints helped me find my beautiful kitten. They helped me with the entire process of adoption and even check up on us every once in awhile to this day! Love them and couldnt have found my baby Karma without them!
Hi, Texas Paw Prints helped me find them great homes for some kittens I found. I saw the decoration the team has for animals and I began fostering with them and have adopted too. The organization is great and I really like how helpful they are.
As a volunteer and a foster I love this group .
They try to do their best no matter the struggles .
There is no saying no and it makes me proud when I hear people say that this was the only rescue that has even responded to them even if it’s just to try to help them find other resources if at max capacity
With this rescue it’s always all about the rescues !!
I have received several of my kitties from them. They were foster failures. Delilah, peanut, Chris and Constance.
I adopted 2 kittens from them and they both are amazing kittens and the group was there to help answer all questions and now I foster for them and help find homes for the kittens. They help ensure the kittens get their vaccines, chips, fixed and find loving homes.
They are the most passionate and caring group of people Ive ever met. Its all about the animals and very persistent to get homes for everyone in need
We went out to an adoption event for Texas Pawprints and found our furever baby! Everyone there was super sweet and you could tell they loved all their foster babies. We held, who we now call Jeepers, for almost two hours. Anna was so patient with my four year old son who had a million questions. They knew he was coming home with us before we did. The process of bringing him home was so easy and we are beyond happy to have him home with us.
I found 4 very young kittens under a shed. I had taken their mom and had her fixed without knowing she had little ones still depending on her. I could not leave them there and mom was not going to be able to nurse them anymore. I bottle fed them for a couple days and then slowly moved them to solids mixed with formula. I was desperate for help to get them their first set of shots and exams. My neighbors helped with the first set and I reached out to Texas Pawprints. I really needed their help in getting the word out about these kittens as they have the ability to network and use different adoption sites. They helped with deworming and I was able to cover getting them spay/neutered and shots. They were more than happy to do it all but I wanted to do as much as I could. I am so grateful for their experience in placing kittens/cats into the right homes for each cat. I have learned a lot of what questions to ask and mostly how to redirect the adopter to a different cat if there is not a good fit. They have a positive "we can get this done" attitude and work non-stop saving sick cats/kittens if asked. I am amazed at the energy and tenacity the volunteers have for each cat or kitten they agree to be responsible for. They are very organized and never seem to get tired of the endless request for help. They are truly a five star group of people that not only care for the animals but for the people adopting them. They work to please everyone.
I have fostered for Texas paw prints and also adopted one of my cats from them. They are great group of people who really care about helping cats in need!
Amazing dedicated rescue! Helped me thoroughly with an injured stray and helped find him a great home! Always patient and helpful.
We really enjoyed fostering with Texas Paw Prints. It was great experience for our family during our summer quarantine. We had the sweetest set of foster kittens. It was our first time fostering and we learned so much! We hope to make fostering a summer tradition :)
I adopted my kitten from Texas Pawprints and had an easy, smooth experience. My first email inquiry was responded to promptly, and everyone I spoke with during the adoption process was genuinely polite and helpful. My kitten’s foster mom kept in touch with me, and she was always free for a text or a phone call when I had questions about my new friend’s transition. I can’t sing enough praise to this foundation!
Texas Pawprints is a fantastic organization! They allow you to "test drive" a kitty to see if you're a match. I ended up adopting a kitten from them. They are always available and they are so helpful! I needed someone to give my kitty her meds while I was out of town. They put me in touch with one of their volunteers and she did a great job. It was such a relief to know my cat would be taken care of. They really do go above and beyond for the cats and kittens.

My wife got two kittens there in July they are members of our family this group is amazing they helped us out in a lot of different ways and my three daughters love my two
I adopted my babies from this group in July. They worked with me and held them until I was able to move into my new house and eased into the translation. The love they showed for these kittens is very obvious in their playful and cuddly nature. The group took care of everything: shots, neutering/spaying, microchipping, vaccinations! Such a fantastic group and I would highly recommend them!
I have followed this group on Facebook and I am so impressed with thier compassionate approach and willingness to take on any kitty in need.
A wonderful group of caring people! This is my first time fostering and every time I have had a question or needed a hand with something, I've received an abundance of support! Proud of all the work they are doing and have loved getting to love on some baby kitties this season.
This is an amazingly dedicated and caring group of volunteers. I donate geneously and encourage anyone who cares for pets to do the same.
I’ve been fostering for about 6 months now and I love it. This group has made it so easy to make the decision to foster. They are on top of any needs the fosters or kittens may need. The other foster mom and dads are great also. Great place
I have been fostering for Texas paw prints this kitten season. They are awesome. They have many experienced people in their group. Couldn’t ask for better.
I foster for this group and they are amazing! They put so much time and effort into their work and do so much for these kitties. No other group is more deserving than Texas PawPrints! So happy to be apart of them!
I have been fostering with Texas Pawprints now for 3 months and love every minute of the amazing things this rescue has helped me to do! It has always been a lifelong dream to foster and help kittens and cats to find forever homes and that is what I am now able to do. For the 1st time in years my life has purpose again and it's all thanks to Texas Pawprints!!
I began fostering kitties with Pawprints several months ago and I'm so glad I've been able to work with this organization. Every volunteer pours every ounce of their passion and love into these kitties, and then some. These animals depend on us, and I'm so happy to help. Texas Pawprints brings so much light and hope to this community, and they host adoptions each weekend if you'd like to welcome a furball or two into your life!
We can’t thank Texas Pawprints enough for helping us get our little Beignet. From the moment we saw her photo, we knew that it was a perfect match. Texas Pawprints really made sure we had everything we needed for her. They do such great work every weekend at the pet adoptions - it’s hard not to want to take them all home with me! ❤️ She is incredible social and affectionate and 100% sassy.
Thank you Texas Pawprints for connecting us with a beautiful kitten. The Foster to Adopt program is great because not only we feel like we are providing good care for our little cat, but also we are making sure we are the right fit for her. Every Sunday they hold an Adoption event at PetSmart and they do an excellent job!
We were looking for a kitten but ended up adapting a full-grown female cat from them. I was afraid if the new cat and the cat we already have get along since they were both full grown cats. But they gave us a chance to temporary take her for a week to see if she does ok. It was less worry for us to have that chance. Thanks to Texas Paw Prints, we have a very sweet new family member!
