After what they put our dog through, these people obviously don’t care about animals. Our dog’s scrotum was FALLING OUT the day after we had him neutered here. When we called TLC immediately, they told us to WAIT and come in first thing the next morning between 8-8:15 AM at their Spring, TX location. We arrived, and the place was closed - no one would answer. We sat with our poor dog who was visibly in such agonizing pain in the back of the car for 35 minutes. No one showed up.

We had no other option but to go to an emergency vet that costed a fortune. The ER vet said they did a poor stitch job on our dog and the sutures the TLC vets used needed to be REPLACED! I guess you do get what you pay for here. Given we had to pay extra to fix their crappy stitch job we should’ve just gone to a more professional clinic to get it done right in the first place.

Do not risk taking your pet here. Terrible service. Used poor quality surgical tools. Neglectful of their patients post surgery. Would not recommend, ever. Our dog suffered so much

We are sorry you were not happy with the service. I cannot comment on specifics on your particular surgery as it is covered by HIPAA. I will speak in generalizations. The scrotum is left during the surgery. Some veterinarians do open scrotal neuters, some do closed. It depends on the surgeon. There is a piece of skin that can come out. It looks ugly but it is not dangerous. The staff does not want undo expenses for any of our clients. We do not charge for rechecks and we would have repaired it at no charge.

I scheduled my dog to be neutered and have a hernia removed during his visit yesterday and when we went to pick him up, they had not removed the hernia. They said that it was to complex and they did not have time to remove it, that my standard vet would have to complete the removal.
The main reason I chose them to provide the service over my vet was cost, but now it is going to end up costing me more to have it removed!

I wish they had told me all of this before they started, so I could have told them no and taken him to my regular vet and have him provide the service.

Horrible communication and would not recommend them to anyone! Like they say, "You get what you pay for!!!"

We are sorry you were not satisfied by the service. We only repair umbilical hernias. Anything more complex will always be referred to a full service veterinarian. We are sorry for the confusion.

I have had one pet spayed and one pet neutered at Texas Litter Control. What I really like, and appreciate, is that they are so reasonably priced. It makes it affordable for people like me who live pay check to pay check and love their pets to get them the care they need. I found the staff very knowledgeable and proficient. They are very, very busy but also very organized so things move quickly. All in all, I'm so very pleased that there is a place like this where I can take my 5 furbabies for affordable, loving care. Thank you Texas Litter Team!!!!!!

The staff at TLC are awesome! I love that I can schedule appointments in advance via their website for my 2 dogs. We didn't have to wait very long to be taken back to the exam room. Prompt service with caring people. In and out in 15 minutes. Love it!

Thrilled to have a nonprofit organization offering basic animal care and neutering services at discounted prices just down the road from me.

Last year I had problems with feral cats and
My neighbors. TLC assisted me when no one
Else would. They are professional, caring and
Compassionate people. I take my cats to them
Now because it is quality care for a reasonable
Price. I believe in them so much I donate to
Them any way I can as well as they are my
Named charity for amazon and I make a lot of
Purchases there. I would like to see them expand
To the whole state and beyond!

Great facility. Excellent service.

I was able to make my appointments online, trapped two feral cats in Have a Heart traps, and take them in the next morning for their procedures. The staff was friendly and efficient.

I have quite a few feral cats that I feed and care for and have always had to take them to SNAP way down on I10. This location is very convenient.

I appreciate that they clip their ears so I know who has been fixed and who has not.

TLC is very affordable and not based on income. WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

GREAT SERVICE........much needed in this area.

I am SO relieved that Texas Litter Control was able to neuter my Porkchop at their recent free event. My fixed income has so little budget room for extra costs. Porkchop was left in the neighborhhood and found his way into my kittie door when he was just very little, eye color just turning. I know he won't wander and make kitties that won't have a home now.

Great organization for low cost spay/neuter and other services. I appreciate that they are not specifically for low income, but offer their services at a very reasonable price. Very helpful for people like me who sometimes take in a stray that they are trying to place in a new home. The were efficient and helpful.

This is a test review but none the less this organization is doing a great job of serving its community far beyond animal welfare.
